Fun day
We have played this course before, but not the North 9. A bit confusing at first, because you hit into a canal and then wonder where to hit the next shot. Played with two Canadians, who were a ton of fun, but also hadn't played the course. Once we figured it out, we had a great day.
Course in average shape. Greens need some work. We will play again on Friday.
Country Club Layout
A friendly course. We played North and West From the blues. The greens are accessible and receptive. Putts are rolling true. Overall a very good golf experience.
Meh
Hard to get a time out here because so many courses are closed for over seeding - got this place - arrive for 715 tee time at 630 to get loose - “no range no practice putting green” a surly starter snapped …now to the course - very very muddy and 3-4 holes are in the wash - flat boring back and forth with tall sprinkler heads the since of wilt chamberlain…weird - greens slow but at least flat and rolled ok - sand is basically dirt…very few water fountains on the course - played the North and West nines (has 36 holes) - guy in pro shop for check in - “ok you’re golf now so you owe me no money - but do you want to get some souvenirs? What, I’m at the ballpark? Overall there are so many better courses out here
Great staff, good course layout
I have to say for this time of the year in the dessert I can not say enough about what great shape this course was in . Friendly staff , great pace of play , just a great day !!
Too many gnats and bees
In all fairness a storm did quite a bit of damage to the course. There were many trees down and lots of muddy fairways that made it more difficult to play
Las palmas
Played just after 7:00 am - course was wet in many areas - over watering from night before- some holes are confusing to where the actual go - 100 dollars is to much for this course at this time of the year.
Great Course & Great Value...SLOW PACE!
I grabbed a quick tee time for 1:30pm on a Thursday, for $35.00 in Palm Springs I can't complain too much. The course was great I played the North/West combo. Pace of play started out about average but then we got behind a sixsome and literally waited 10 minutes at our ball between shots. They had at least 3 holes open in front of them and would not let us play thru. It was a very slow round for a Thursday in October. However, I would highly recommend the course if you are in the area, great value and nice.
Fun Course
Played from the White tees, course-was still long. Greens were nice and fast.. I had a little difficulty figuring what was the north 9 holes which seems like it should have been East. My gps was confused also. All in a good older course worth playing.
Nice Course
Above average course. Really nice holes on the back. Course is pretty open, not too tight. And the greens were a little slow but true.
Rancho las palmas
Super friendly staff. Course in good shape. Pace was good.
