Pacific Palms Resort
About Pacific Palms Resort
Pacific Palms Resort is billed as "LA's hilltop hideaway", the only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County. The setting of the 292-room hotel and two golf courses by William F. Bell and Casey O'Callaghan is set against the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Live music and jazz sets the mood at the Red Restaurant and Bar. The Industry Hills Golf Club's Eisenhower and Zaharias courses have been upgraded over the years with new turf and infrastructure, but their historical layouts remain unchanged.Facts

Good Times…
It’s always good to be back here at Industry Hills. Pace of play could have been a lot better, but overall it’s always a good time playing here. Fairways were great, but tee boxes could definitely need some help. Look forward to playing again soon.
Disappointed today
they overbooked for Thanksgiving holiday .. pace of play played 9 holes in 3.5 hours .. wishing they offer a refund a new tee time .. wasted round .. one of my fav most visited courses too
Beginners Please Play Another Course
I used to love this course. The layout is incredible, numerous undulations are such a challenge and the greens were always pure.
There are 2 primary issues with this course over the last 2 years - the horde of beginner golfers who have no business on a course of this difficulty, and the conditions. They are probably somewhat related.
BEGINNER GOLFERS - for the love of all that is holy, this course is not for you. You are not ready for it, and will likely ruin the day of competent golfers. No joke, this course will eat your lunch. If you can’t get off the tee reliably, go play a par 3 course or your local muni.
Conditions - while it is true that Covid-era golfers have little to no etiquette and generally do not fix ball marks and divots, the state of this course is also on the maintenance team. The bunkers have been garbage for years. Watch the golf scenes from Falling Down and Entourage to see how pristine this place used to be.
A real shame. This place used to be a gem, but the combination of clueless beginners and absolute disregard from the maintenance team have ruined the experience.
Very Very Slow Sunday
Very slow play
Not Marshalled
Beginner golfers in this course
Not a good outing
Unfortunate
Terrible place of play. Marshall tried to move it along but 3 hours for the front 9 on Ike is ridiculous. Some fairway bunkers are just mud. Have played here a lot and this was disappointing.
Used to be good
Have played here 20 times and the pace on this Friday was terrible. Nearly 6 hours with no help from the Marshall. Unfortunate because it used to be one of the better socal options for pace, value and course conditions. The fairway bunkers are also just mud. Another one down.
Industry Hills / Babe Course
Fun golf course to play. Well maintained fairways, greens, and nice views!
