About Pacific Palms Resort
Pacific Palms Resort is billed as "LA's hilltop hideaway", the only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County. The setting of the 292-room hotel and two golf courses by William F. Bell and Casey O'Callaghan is set against the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Live music and jazz sets the mood at the Red Restaurant and Bar. The Industry Hills Golf Club's Eisenhower and Zaharias courses have been upgraded over the years with new turf and infrastructure, but their historical layouts remain unchanged.Facts

Reviews
Resort course
The course was in good shape, not great but good. Greens were in good shape. The course does not provide pin locations and the gps only measures to the center of each green. At times the green was 25-30 yards deep and we had no clue what club to hit, take that and the elevation changes made club selection rough. A few gimmicky holes with blind shots that required local knowledge instead of being laid out in front of newcomers to the course.
Driving range was absolutely trash…mats that didn’t stay down when hitting off of and range balls that should be thrown away. The range grass was artificial turf that was sand color and could never see the ball land or any sort of feel for distance. I wouldn’t play the course again, for the money I’d play another option.
Another summer weekend
We played the Ike course was in great condition it ran a little slow but it was the weekend. It took 4 hours and 45 minutes but other than that it was a great outing.

Overall, the courses in great condition, however, bunkers throughout the course really need attention. Lots of rocks and more dirt than any sand.
Beautiful course
My favorite course to play at. I grew up down the street and Industry Hills was basically my backyard so it's a nostalgia that comes with it for me.

Worst experience possible
the threesome I got paired with were being really weird about having to share a cart with me and caused a big fuss in the shop. They made up some lie that they were sick and the starter absolutely would not give me my own cart. The starter first tried to tell the guy to leave but gave up and because it was so awkward, I offered to walk and catch and join them 3some ahead of them already in the fairway and the starter let me so I did that. After the 2nd hole the starter drove out and said I had to go back and play with the weirdos behind us or leave! No sense since both groups were a 3some so what difference did it make? They couldn’t rationalize it so I got my refund but I am still furious about the situation at a place I have played many times.
