About Pacific Palms Resort
Pacific Palms Resort is billed as "LA's hilltop hideaway", the only full-service luxury golf and conference resort in Los Angeles County. The setting of the 292-room hotel and two golf courses by William F. Bell and Casey O'Callaghan is set against the San Gabriel Valley Mountains. Live music and jazz sets the mood at the Red Restaurant and Bar. The Industry Hills Golf Club's Eisenhower and Zaharias courses have been upgraded over the years with new turf and infrastructure, but their historical layouts remain unchanged.Facts

Don’t forget your compass
What a weird layout! The course wind’s its way around the mountain using what was left after they built the real course. It makes no sense and you can lose your ball at almost any moment. The course itself is in pretty good condition. The greens are nice and large although the pin placements were rather bizarre, PGA Tour like. Maybe that’s to make up for how short the course is. As for the two par 3’s in a row on the back nine ( and 3 pars in 4 holes) that was where I said enough is enough.
Slow Going
These are two fine golf courses. However, my group reached the 13th tee box at the three hour forty five minute mark. With three groups on the tee box. I packed it in. 5 1/2 hours to play 18 holes isn't in my game plan.
Golf. Cart Maintenance and Policy
Three out of the last 5 times we played. We had 2 flat tires and one dead battery.
Don’t like their policy of forcing single players to ride with strangers. With all the COVID and Monkey Pox going around player should not be required to ride with people you do not know. Heck give the single players the option to pay extra for a single cart.
Hopefully this is a one off and not an ongoing policy.
Heatwave
A little to hot at noon. Could’ve used a couple of water stations.
Course beat up
I love the 2 tracks here, but every time I play it, it seems to degrade in quality. Weeds are growing everywhere, tee boxes are uneven and beat up, golf carts seem old, sand traps are horrible with no sand and a lot of rocks.
Ike course
Course was very nice! Greens were consistent. Only negative thing was the bunkers had lots of rocks and some big ones at that. But would 100% recommend and I would play again.
Nice but SLOW!
The course is quite challenging and in good shape. It was too hot to be out on the course for just under 5 hours. We informed the starter at the turn that the group in front of us was playing very slow. We then called a clubhouse with the same complaint. The marshall finally showed up on the 15th hole.
Nice course, pace of play good. All good
It was an early morning weekday round, so the pace of play was as expected - no issues. I think we might have waited a combined 5 minutes on 2 different greens, so nothing to complain about.
The course was in great shape. The greens were a bit challenging and nicely kept. This was my second time on Ike and the layout is great. It's a challenging course where you need to hit it pretty straight and, luckily, I was in the fairway on most holes. It was my wife's first time there and she enjoyed it also.
Nice round. We'll be back for sure.
Wonderful course
This is a wonderful course with a great variety of layout. Lots of hills so it’s quite a workout for the older folks such as myself. Very enjoyable experience.
