The ranch-style Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook is just minutes away from Temecula wine country. All 132 rooms have either been renovated or will be soon. A heated outdoor pool, four lighted tennis courts and fitness room are available to guests. The golf course starts out narrow but gets more scenic with more elevation changes later in the round.Facts

Vacation Round
Played as a single. Matched with two fun regular players here. Had a ball. Challenging holes and long carries make it a thinking course. Good course for the money. Greens were true but the fairways were tight and dry. Still a good choice to play

Great golf in Fallbrook Ca
I played golf with a friend today. I enjoyed the course. It challenged me to play golf and not just hit my driver. I elected to choose the right club to play each hole. I’ll be back again for another great round. The upkeep of the fairways, out of bounds , and the greens were awesome.

Pala Mesa
We all enjoyed this course. Greens were immaculate. Tee boxes could be better. Fairway grass could be more consistent.

Golf Course in Poor Conditions
Played Pala Mesa today. The course was in poor condition and was more like a cow pasture than a so called resort course. The value was not there for what the four players paid. This was my first time using Golf Now and it is not a very good representation of what was listed on your web site and what was received. Will be hesitate to ever use Golf Now again. Very very disappointed. The only good thing is that the golf clerk at the club was a nice friendly person.

First round at Pala Mesa Resort
Narrow fairways and way more bunkers than necessary?! Fun day but tough, unforgiving track. Leave the driver in the bag. Rough was too long for a resort course - hate losing balls that are in play…

Great golf
A great golf course close to Temecula and San Diego. Friendly staff and really nice golf carts. Carts have music and built in range finder
Only criticism was the beat up tee boxes. Some tee boxes were uneven .
Great fairways and fast greens

One thing wrong
The only bad thing was the cart. Old one with very hard brake to set. Also the very worst was the monitor that said stupid things about how to drive all the time.

Resort Golf? Laughable
Arrived thinking it was a resort course so good quality, couldn't have been more wrong. Driving range worse then a park district, course quality $30 MAXIMUM, cart lady I don't know how she gets a tip, pace was horrible, only perk was friendly golfers. I think all of their money went into the GPS/Infotainment device in the cart.

Disappointed
The fairways were rough in parts--not enough water and too many weedy lies. The rough was kikuyu and generally dry--very difficult. Greens were good with mixed grasses. Bunkers were very good. Challenging course with lots of hazards and ob in play. Not a great value right now.
