It’s expensive however it’s a must for anyone who loves the game and well worth it. The history is incredible. The course must be walked for sure as it’s the experience of walking where the legends have played. There is truly no feeling like it. The caddies are great, ask for jim. He keeps you relaxed and really allowed us to enjoy our experience, with the stories, the jokes and the jabs. It’s a bucket list item for sure. And of course 7 and 18. Don’t forgot your buds can watch you tee off on hole 1 over the Internet, don’t shank it.

Waiting my whole life to play this course, watching multiple tournaments, came with huge expectations, Pebble Beach didn’t disappoint. Incredible condition, beautiful sights worth every penny spent. Very small greens, fairly short course by today’s standards. I rented the electro golf cart—cart path only always— didn’t know this until the first hole when the 2 I was paired with had candies, and they told me. I will definitely get a caddy if I came back.

Classic course, not really long but greens are very small, and breaks are very subtle. Speeds are sneaky in some areas. Course is in incredibly good condition, tees greens and fairways. Pricing is good, Especially compared to the rest of the courses in Monterey

Wow, what an epic place! My husband and I loved our time at Pebble Beach. This place is nothing short of pristine, and as amateur non-golfers, we loved spectating the final hole from the bar and looking out at the water. What an amazing place to finish the 17 Mile drive. We highly recommend doing the 17-Mile drive, making all the stops and ending at Pebble Beach. Such a memorable experience.

Can’t go wrong with old del monte. Tiny greens, long par threes, challenging but fair. fabulous weather in monterey, best bag for the buck

Fun course, nice layout. Teed off after 2:00 and the pace was great. Highly recommend it, and I'm hard to please...that's what my kids tell me...

Staff was very friendly and informative. Course was very challenging, but not unfair. Greens were perfect, some of the best i've ever seen. No range, but nice putting green and chipping area. We took a cart, but I highly recommend walking.

Good overall conditions,Fast and smooth greens. Fairways a little uneven due to mower ridges.

Only problem was the condition of the fairways. They were very splotchy. Not very consistent Bunkers were fine. Greens were a little sandy and small but rolled very true.. Loved the layout and the overall feel of the course. Rachel the cart lady was the best.

The fairways had been topdressed with Sand so shots were stopping quickly. This made for difficult second shots. The seventeenth hole was under construction and was extremely poor.

The par 3s from the ladies tees were all under 100 yards which made them far too easy.

We paid $395 which made this course the worst value we have ever played!

I played in the afternoon. It was not crowded. Pace of play was great. Finished playing in two and a half hours. Loved the course layout. Most of the tee boxes are located next to the previous hole's green. The fairways are in good shape. The greens are in great condition. There are some dry patches in places. They do not affect gameplay. They are in spots away from where you would normally hit the ball. I had a geat time. This is a fun course to play.

Joined a threesome and had a wonderful experience. Everyone has seen photos of Pebble Beach, but Spyglass Hill is equally tough without being unfair. If you plan to ride (Cartpaths only) get a forecaddie to help with distances and reading greens. The pro shop and grill are each one story and very low-key. Played both Spyglass and Spanish Bay - would definitly return to play Spyglass.

TV does not do this course justice. I go the huge opportunity to play this golf course with my grandfather on my spring break. We drove 2 hours from Sacramento and endured double the traffic on the way back but it was all worth it. The first tee box presents you with a bit of nerves because there are plenty of people around watching you tee off. I regretfully took a cart, I say regretfully because with it being cart path only its just like walking. I would strongly recommend a caddie. By far my favorite hole was number 8, a lay up approach shot gives you the opportunity to hit over a cove to the green below your feet. Pro tip: We booked our tee time the day after they punched the greens and they were very sandy but they took a large sum off the total price and lifted the "stay to play" rule. If youre okay with playing on sandy (but still better than your local muni) greens I would go that route. If its on your bucket list, do it.

The course conditions were mostly excellent, the tee boxes, greens were excellent, there are a few dry areas in places on the fairways. Overall good, but not perfect as there are filled squirrel holes on the edges of every fairway. The traps were in excellent condition, something that is lacking in many of the nearby courses these days.
