On travel and a treat to play this course! Beautiful, well kept and well landscaped! Challenging but not overwhelming-fair!

Front nine a bit windy but back nine much more protected. Pace of play was great and course conditions were very good.

Quail Lodge offers a stunningly beautiful golf experience at one of the best maintained venues I’ve ever seen. The practice facilities are also first class, including turf driving range, complete short game area and large putting green.

Very beautiful Golf Course in very good condition need to keep it in the Fairway rough is very thick I really like this course but I would not spend the $290 Green fee that is required to play here I got on with a GolfNow tee time and 15% off of that for $140 and I don't think that the course is worth much more than that just because it snows next to Pebble Beach anyway though I give it a four out of five stars and would play again at the golf now price

I was sent out as a single on a day with tournaments and all foursomes in front of me. I requested that my tee time be delayed to wait for an opening with other players. I was told the course was completely booked. It was not. I ran into a threesome later. Close to a five hour round as a single. Awful experience.

Challenging manageable track with some of the best conditions you can find in public golf. YOU NEED TO PLAY HERE

Course is absolutely beautiful. Greens are perfect as are the lush fairways. Staff is very helpful.

Great place, great people. Staff was very nice, we ate lunch at the restaurant and that was very good. Course was in immaculate condition. Pace of play was perfect. What a great course!

I love Quail Lodge. It is one of my favorite tracks on the Monterey Peninsula, but when you book a tee time, they should tell you the greens were just punched two days prior, so we got to pay a $160 for a round on a course with sandy, super bumpy, punched greens! They were so bad, even short puts were near impossible as they would bounce like crazy. We had to make it an auto 2 putt as even a 3 footer would jump off line. Come on Quail, you are better than this! Just be honest. Now I know why there was almost nobody else on the course! That gets a 1 star in my book although I love this course.

We booked a special birthday round for a foursome and looked forward to the normally great conditions at this course. Unfortunately we were told after checking in that that greens had just finished being punched and sanded TWO DAYS PRIOR. We told the staff how disappointing that was to hear and that there was no warning listed on the Golf Now site about this when we booked the round. The reply from one of the staff was one had played (after the aerification) and they were "rolling pretty well". That is the overstatement of the year in my world! The greens played like freshly punched, sanded greens. Soft as putty, and as bouncy and untrue as it gets.

We would have never paid for an expensive round of golf on freshly aerified greens, and always look for this kind of thing when using the Golf Now system. Most courses list this up front but Quail Lodge did not. Perhaps an oversight, but we feel taken advantage of. Looking today it looks like it's now been added to the site (for future bookings) so the staff must have passed the word along. Too late for us unfortunately. :(
