Pure Heaven
Fairways like range mats. Greens were receptive and had a nice average pace to them. The layout is spectacular, every hole feels iconic. Just absolutely pure.
Absolutely pure heaven
This is my top golfing experience. The conditions are fantastic. Every hole feels iconic. Must play.
Quail is worth the time
Great staff. Course condition was excellent. A very fair layout with greens that are faster than they appear.
Even good wet
Got a good deal and decided to go out a few days after all the atmospheric rivers and it was wonderful. Mostly dry. I was shocked. Del monte the day before was a swamp—mostly unplayable. The picture is of the 18th green and my hole out location!
Amazing conditions
Course was in amazing shape. Layout was very interesting. Definitely plays long in wet conditions. Understandable having the tips at 6400. It’s a little expensive, for sure, but really enjoyed it.
perfect condition, very well maintained, friendly staff.
Next to BEST COURSE I've EVER played!)))
I was down Monterey way 1st of May for an NCGA Qualifier and since I was there fir an entire week, I wanted to get on as much golf as possible. I checked the rates early in the week and seemed a little steep. So after playing Pacific Grove a few times(since I was within walking distance, I checked back mid-week and found that the rate had dropped by $25- $30! So I booked it and was absolutely blown away by the staff and how well kept this Pristine course is! Immaculately maintained and the staff (along w/The Bartender!))) COULDN'T have been more accomodating. I never once slowed down once I was on the course- cartpaths were like carpeting as well as the fairways! The greens were some of the BEST I've ever putted on- FAST, but fair. I'd Jighly recommend You play this layout if You get down to Monterey/ Carmel-by-the-Sea area! (Btw- it's a toss-up b/t Carmel Valley & Poppy Hills as far as My two favorites~♡ Harold Carruthers
Wouldn’t recommend
Course is located in beautiful area. The surroundings are the best part. Course wasn’t terrible but was no better than an average muni course and it was 6-7x the price.
A Glorious afternoon
I loved the layout and the condition of the course. At least 3 times when I was about 10 feet off of the putting surface, I elected to use a putter due to the very tightly mowed fringes. It was much like a pro course you see on television. I actually was distracted by the beauty of some holes. I didn’t take my camera out, and now wish that I did. I will definitely be back!
