The Oasis at Death Valley

About The Oasis at Death Valley
The former Furnace Creek Inn and Ranch Resort was rebranded and renamed The Oasis at Death Valley after $100 million was pumped into the historic desert outpost located in the Death Valley National Park in 2018. The property includes a luxurious 66-room inn and the more family-friendly 224-room ranch adjacent to the the Furnace Creek golf course a short shuttle ride away. The 22 new casitas were built during the project. The ranch feels like a western outpost with a general store, visitor center, gas station, post office, the Fiddler's Creek campground, Furnace Creek stables, the new Last Kind Words Saloon and entertainment for families: A spring-fed pool; tennis, basketball and volleyball courts; horseshoe pits and a playground. The course sits at the lowest elevation in the world, 214 feet below sea level, meaning your ball won't travel nearly as far.Facts

Oasis in the Desert
Course was in better condition than when I played it 2 years ago. They do not overseed for the winter so you play on somewhat dormant Bermuda grass. They do heavily water the Bermuda to keep things fairly green so you may find a few "slog" areas in the fairways.Greens are slightly bumpy but putt fine. Considering the harsh conditions that this golf course deals with during the summer months the condition during the winter months is remarkable.
Unique location
Such a unique place to golf. Fairways were fast with lots of bounce. Greens were slower than they appear. The pub was closed so not a great 19th hole experience. But wonderful relaxing game.
A nice friendly course
Very friendly and helpful staff. Course was very wet, but I was glad it was open.
Great fun
Fairways in great condition, greens are painted but generally in very good condition. We had standing water a few places after atmospheric river .
All employees we interacted with were friendly.
Found this to be a fun desert course with oustanding scenery.
Nice course
I expected the course to be nice because I had seen the pictures. Well, it is! I was surprised by the lack of distance--a lot of that is me, but I'm improving. The below sea level seems to take a lot out of the ball. The staff was very friendly and the pro shop recently moved to a larger location. It looked to be very well stocked.
Lowest Golf course in the World 214' Below Sea level
Can't say enough about this Magical Place!
Jon and his entire team members were great
Thank you all for the great service!
Steve and Marnie...God Bless 🏌♀️🏌♂️⛳🙏🇺🇲
Loved it. Wish we played 18.
I played with my 10 year old son. To make it bearable, they suggested we tee him up where the fairway starts. It was a great suggestion. Make the time to play this course… it was worth it!
Back again!
Just had to pay this gem again but this time with one of my regulars at the casino. He loved it as much as I did my first time! Keep up the great work!!!
IS THIS HEAVEN?
Yes, I do believe it is...
With the fact that this is the lowest elevation golf course in the World not to mention the wild animals crossing the fairway this place is paradise...
Beautiful scenery
Just the drive alone is worth going to this golf course but when you throw in a coyote or two crossing the fairway as you're teeing off now that's special. The lowest elevation golf course in the World!!!
An experience
The course is something special due to the location. So unbelievable you can maintain a course on the hottest and lowest place on earth. Nice staff, good rates, playable course in good condition (march)
Very nice surroundings on most holes. Encountered some coyotes on the course that are familiar with humans, they don’t care you are there and come pretty close.
