Furnace Creek Golf Course

This is a special and cool golf course. It's unique! I have a few things however... some of the greens were less than ideal. A few were difficult to putt, but they are definitely trying to improve the outcome. The fairways were terrific. The day was warm but very nice breeze made it excellent. The staff professional was terrific and helpful. Book via Golf pass if you can. Very quiet in the course, a few other golfers on a Saturday. A fun track, but not yet in excellent condition.

Had a visitor from out of town s was a good trip to see Death Valley and play 9 holes in the morning.

No eating facilities open until noon.

Visitor enjoyed having the opportunity to see Death Valley.

Personally I will not return until I have another visitor from out of town.

Played 9 on a whim with my son! Go early and enjoy!

This is a very interesting golf course. Very beautiful, many flowers in bloom and very green fairways. There was some standing water in the fairways, and a few of the greens were not in good shape. It was just over 90 degrees when we played and a breeze was terrific! This course forced decisions on where to hit the ball for a good approach. You can avoid trouble by thinking the hole out ahead of your tee shot. The course will definitely try to trick you and it's fun. It's not really long, but accuracy does count. You will probably be best friends with your shirt irons. Plenty of water in the course. If you get the chance, take it!

Fun course. Unique one time play. Unfortunately about 1/3 of greens are dried out and in very poor condition. Sometimes challenging to find the next tee box. Fairways were in good condition. Saw a few coyotes. Pace of play was very quick. 18 holes in 3 hours. Cart was old and took a while to brake.

First time playing at Furnace Creek - but had been on the list of things to do in Death Valley. Course was in good condition ( i dont know how they even keep grass alive with summer temps being in the 120s ) There were a few dry spots on some fairways and 1 green was in pretty rough shape - but overall really fun. Views of Death Valley mtns are on many holes and fairways are tree lined. Some interesting wildlife (pretty tame coyote and a few other critters tried to join the round ) Only bummer is the lack of driving range facility to warm up and there is no onsite beverage or food at the turn - but was ok to bring our own. Staff at at the pro-shop and cart facility was great. Head Pro was also out on course checking in on golfers and helping maintain pace of play as there is a wide range of ability levels playing. Overall - great experience and we will be back again next spring.
