Good everywhere except the flag greens was more dirt then grass on most holes because of the re-construction they are doing rite now on the putting greens, overall great course though! Hope to go back and achieve a lower score next time.

The course needs to let you know up front how bad the Greens are!!

Also not worth the $$$ with the greens being unplayable

Disappointing

the Fairways were in good condition; but Greens were absolutely not playable! The course had do be closed until Greens will be repaired. Dave money and chose another course!

First time playing this course and I was pleasantly impressed with it. Very scenic holes and great layout.

The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The greens were pretty good even thought they were a little dry and patchy. Typical for this time of year. All in all, a wonderful time and look forward to playing it again.

I want to preface this by saying that I’m a +2 handicap and I play a lot of golf. I’m not a snob by any means and grew up playing a sub par muni. The photos that I am posting aren’t even the worst greens. These are from the back 9. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it was too bad. When you can’t putt a 3 footer because there is no grass you should close until the course is playable. Do yourself a favor and play anywhere else but here. I want a refund but the staff couldn’t care less. When I say the greens are the worst I have ever played I mean it. I have played temporary greens that were better.

FireCliff course is one of the best conditioned courses in the Palm Springs area!!

My one concern is the condition of the greens. Hard to imagine how they will have a good condition as the weather gets hotter. Everything else was wonderful!!

Any other time I would give this course 5 stars but the greens are struggling right now. Surprisingly the fairways are in great condition but I have no idea what is happening to the greens. Some holes have barren patches so the ball is rolling at unreliable speed and hard to control. Appreciate the plentiful bathrooms and water and ice stations located throughout the course and the service is top notch.

Love the course and it’s always been in great shape but with the pending course changes, they have let the grass die. It’s absolutely criminal that they didn’t discount the green fees. About 1/3 of the grass on the greens was dead.

You have to do better, Desert Willow.

Played on a Tuesday at 1230 as foursome, paid $100pp so strong value. Biggest issue is the e bunkers are hard packed have uneven surfaces so many thinned bunker shots - really need a 60degre with zero bounce. Course wasn’t busy so we played at a leisurely pace 4:10. Grass is in transition to summer types so it was patchy in areas. Greens looked patchy but rolled nicely and had decent speed.

We have played this course many times and it remains a favorite. Great course with very nice views.

We were disappointed that my injured wife, who can't play right now, was not allowed to ride with our 3 some, however.

Great course, great views, tough overall. Bunkers were ok and greens were slick. Played from the tips making the teeth on the course come out. Well worth the money.

Enjoyed the round. Course has breathtaking views of the mountains. Only hiccup was the greens….awful. Not sure if it had an infection or what but it was either bald or had a weed growth. Greens were slick and uneven.

Again nice layout but no marshall pushing people along. The group in front of us were horrendously slow. Greens look terrible and bumpy with rye dying off (looked diseased) Range in terrible shape and clubhouse closes too early. This place could be so much better!

Nice layout, bunkers need a bit of updating, Greens look like terrible and bumpy with the Rye grass dying off. Clubhouse closes at 6pm? can even grab a beer on the patio after the round. Too bad its a beautiful layout and nice patio and clubhouse.
