Mountain View at Desert Willow Golf Resort

Enjoyable round on a very hot day at the Mountain View Course. Course in very good condition, some fun holes & a couple of challenging pins. Lots of access to water which was key. Greens in very good shape. A bit of extra sand on some holes which weren't really bunkers which was odd. One of the most comfortable golf carts ever riden in. Had GPS too. Is it better than Fire Cliff no but still a very fun rack.

enjoy this track. Staff was great from the pro shop to the assistance to the encore Marshall. They even provide wet towels during the round and toward the end, which is a nice experience.

Track is solid and pace play is good. Greens are in great shape. Great place to play especially in the summer. Practice facilities are good as well.

WOW! GREAT EVERYTHING. Better conditions than Indian Wells and PGA West Stadium. I was blown away at this course. It was my wife’s favorite course that we played this week. For reference I am 6 handicap and my wife is a 26. I played the two tee’s and she played the front.

Everything was great. Just be watchful of the nature as I came close to a bobcat that was just 10 feet in from the cart path. A bit scary. The bobcat didn't take much notice and kept moving within some shrubs.

Only problem was there were not much sand in the bunkers.

All aspects were great. My only issue in a perfect world there were a lot of unrepaired ball marks on the green. Most were deep as if they came in from distance. There are a lot of vacation only players but typically those marks don’t come from some guy hitting eight iron from 90 yards out. Other than that little annoyance it was perfect.

The course is in great condition. Beautiful grass! Fun and challenging. The course is well maintained and the employees are very knowledgeable and very professional.

I played the Mountain View Course on this day. The course was in good shape and the pace of play was roughly 3:40. The greens were a little long but the speed was good and they rolled true. Good balance of beautiful views and challenging golf. I had a little trouble reading the break on the greens, so that was part of thw challenge. The fairways appear narrow but they a pretty forgiving. With a little wind, the course played longer than it looked/measured.

Good conditions overall, greens still settling in, great scenery, good value, recommend. Great practice facilities, helpful staff, great restaurant/bar, recommend both courses. Fairways, rough and bunkers were excellent. I think they replaced the greens on both courses with a different type of grass and it's still settling in. Very firm surface but super slow pace. The green texture was like cow-licks and very frustrating surface to putt on, with very inconsistent stimp speeds. It was like putting with patches of velcro all over the green where the ball would be on line to the hole and screech to a halt around the cup. I'll be back after everything settles in.
