Westin Desert Willow Villas

The course was so lush and pace of play was great. We play this course every time we come down from Vancouver and love it.

Some of the greens were a little rough but other than that amazing.

We always tip the guy who cleans our clubs but yesterday the guy really didn’t do anything and wasn’t super friendly

It was the end of the day so I get it, he most likely wanted to go home.

Otherwise love this place

This is one of the most beautiful and well kept public course in Southern California. The pace of play was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course is kept in great shape year round including the summer. They have a great practice area. The only thing I would suggest is to have a bunker practice area. We played the Mountain View course. They also have a great restaurant with a beautiful of the course.

Overall great course! Will be back. Only negative was that some of the greens were seemingly burnt to a crisp.

This was the last course we played on an epic road trip.

I would play this course on every trip I made south.

As a Canadian visitor to the Desert Willow I pay 2 1/2 to 4 times more to play a round at Firecliff or Mountain View than a California resident pays.

In Canada the rate at public golf courses is the same whether you are a local or visiting from any other country..

Why don’t they consider implementing a reduced rate based on the number of times you play while visiting instead of the one time gouge!

I would have liked to play Mountain View this trip but it just costs too much. Desert Falls is only $49.00 for a non California resident and it is a quality track!

Firecliff was a joy to play. All the holes on the course are gorgeous. I would play this course everyday if I could.

Very well conditioned course fairways were great bunkers had lots of sand in them greens were quite fast with lots of undulations in them .would play this anytime that I am the Palm Springs area

Great course and playable based on your golf skill level.

Very nice golf course one of the best municipal courses I’ve played just a little thin on some of the landing areas. Other than that very good golf course.
