I have played the course before and it was in much better shape this time. My only issue was pace of play. I got worried we would not finish before dark. It took over 4.5 hours. I played the forward tees.

The course offers a few tee box options for any caliber of golfer. The tee boxes were nice, the fairways are getting nice and full of grass, the greens putted true and smooth. I recommend playing this course when in the Palm Desert area.

I had played there before and did like the overall quality-price experience . On this trip , fekt the course degraded around tees and outside the fairways , it did lose on the quality side for the region .

Layout is amazing. Staff awesome. Greens were brutal and grass was suspect. Greens inconsistent with a bump every 8 inches.

Love the layout but the pace of play was terrible. No water out on the golf course and the cart person was no where to be found.

I haven’t played this course because everyone knocks it. But not true at all the greens were fast, great tee boxes and fairways. Not hard but sneaky with a lot of water and sand traps. Worth it and I will be back

Westin, if you are going to put your name on this course, it should be first-class as you market yourself. But no first-class course has DIRT bunkers. And it is obvious that you filled in many of Pete Dye's bunkers that are now grass bunkers. It's a good thing he can't back and see the mess you've made all to save money.

Well maintained fairways and greens. Pace of play was good.

Play was slower than usual. I played 4 rounds in January 2025. The course was in excellent conditions except the greens. The suggest the starters remind golfers to repair pitch marks. The practice putting green was cut but the course greens were a bit shaggy. The course attendants, including shuttle service from the parking lot, was very good.

For $80 it was worth every penny!

Not a difficult course but has enough water and sand hazards to keep you focused. Staff excellent!
