Westin Rancho Mirage Golf Resort & Spa - Pete Dye Resort Course

Considering it's overseed season in the desert, the course was in good shape. Greens were excellent; fairways were cut very close so thin shots were not out of the question especially in the approach areas. Pace of play was terrible on the front nine...about 2hr 45min...but the pace picked up on the back and we were able to finish in about 4hr 15min. No marshal on the course at all. What's really poor service is the bag drop. A twosome had been waiting for a while for the shuttle to come; we called and waited and then called again because now there were 8 people w/bags at the bag drop waiting to be picked up. Of course, the shuttle couldn't accommodate all in one trip. Very poor service in this regard, and the driver seemed slow and "out of it" like he didn't know what he was doing. Anyway, I would have never tipped him, but my husband is nice and did tip for the poor service.

The minute you get to the property you are met with an enthusiastic member of their team. Your clubs, cart and all pre golf needs are dealt with. The starter is with you from bag dropping of until tee off and let's you know everything you need to have a great round of golf. The course was nearly perfect. The only draw back would be the greens were hard as it was in the middle of the dry season. Once I figured those out all was great. Fabulous day of golf!

They are getting ready to close for overseeding in a couple days. Fairways were a bit bare as can be expected. We were told the greens were great. They were only OK.

It was a hot day, no beverage cart. No ice on the course. They did have two ice water dispensers but all four of us agreed the water tasted so bad it was undrinkable.

I played the week previous and was excited to take my 3 out of town guests as the course was in great shape. Very disapointing.

Free driving range. Friendly staff. Conditions were very good. Quick pace of play. 4/15.

We enjoyed our round - getting out early to beat the heat. Pro shop team was helpful with set up and club rental and everyone was very friendly, especially valet parking attendant who drove us to pro shop.

Better than I expected with the upgraded renovations. Nice course layout. Will play again for the weekday rate.

We had a great experience playing this course, apart from the temperature, which we couldn’t control. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. The deep contoured bowls added a unique challenge if you get off the fairway. A beautiful setting with the mountain background at the horizon.

From what I have heard from months past, this course was in shambles. Getting to play it after being open for only four days the course was immaculate. Greens were pure, fairways in great shape and everything green. No problems with the course itself, but outside service employees could definitely use some training in hospitality

Just played today and the course is looking in great shape! I had heard it was just closed for a bit but everything is looking great! Greens were smooth and I didn’t see a single ball mark all day. It’s a must play course!

The course is gorgeous, but unfortunately the greens did not come in well at all this season. Wish Golf Now would have provided some indication of that before I booked it! They did reduce the price though.

Every green was ruined. Never played on worse greens.
