Bonaventure Resort & Spa

Greens were almost unreadable due to black pellets everywhere?! Missing sections of green, fairways were trash. Nothing in the clubhouse (I’m talking food apparel or drinks) I wouldn’t recommend this course to my worst enemy

I usually don’t take the time to review courses since they’re all within a reasonably playable range for their price. Unfortunately I cannot say that about Bonaventure. We paid 50 bucks to play this course and it had turf field pellets and sanded patches on almost every green. 0 chance of staying on line when we were putting. The general upkeep up the course was not great, the clubhouse had nothing in it either. There was a cart lady who we saw twice on the front and then never again on a hot day.

No water on the course either so get ready to roast.

Overall hated the course and will never be back.

Great course layout. Course condition below average for this time of year. Greens and tee boxes not in good shape but course layout made up for it. Still had a great day for the price.

The course is in very poor condition the green were some of the worst I have played on. The staff was very kind and hospitable!

The reviewer stating this course was re-done must be living in 1930. The greens and tee boxes were in extraordinarily bad shape— especially the greens! There was this green spray throughout every green-making it impossible to hit a decent putt.

I won’t play here again.

No money getting put back into the course, but only someone’s pocket.

The course could be awesome with some TLC.

Not looking like that will happen any time soon.

The staff was super nice almost to nice where I was feeling bad for them, thinking this course is on its last leg ready to close.

FYI- not a single course greens worker out there anywhere.

What would that mean to you?

Sorry to see something with such potential go to the way side like this. A real shame. Very sad…

Field is allowed to go to unreasonably poor condition in terms of maintenance even though otherwise the lay-out is the finest.

Greens on the sand, teeoff places in poor condition

Despite this being my first time here I had an absolutely phenomenal time. Looking forward to coming back. The only hang up was the fact they allow two people one cart out behind foursomes which create gridlock on the course. Hopefully soon they fix that. I also which the bar reopened, can’t use COVID as an excuse anymore lol.

The course has a wonderful lay out. The conditions of the greens and tee boxes were awful. The concession stand at the turn around was closed. We were starving as we were counting on a hotdog at the turn. It's quite a shame that it is so run down. Played Coral Sp0rings and that was beautiful, and the hotdogs were yummy.
