Good course but only a few greens are still playable. The rest are in pretty dire need of regrassing/renovation. The grass on most of them is sparse, but long and stringy, and just rolled flat. We had some greens that were nappy where the grass had come up from being rolled. Really inconsistent, but they've done an OK job of working with what they got. It's worth playing for target practice but don't expect to roll putts until they get it fixed.

The course layout is nice, however the greens are in awful shape. Impossible to putt when they are that bad. This course should be way cheeper for the current conditions it is in.

If putting is your thing, this is not the course for you. I've played all three nines in the last two weekends, and the Grand course is the only one with tolerable greens. Royal/Sabal courses have GARBAGE greens. You might as well just take an automatic two putt once you're on the green, that's how poor they are. $71 for a weekend round through CanAm is insane, and they charge about $10 more if you don't use CanAm. Terrible. Avoid until they get the course back in decent shape.

This used to be a premium course. It is far from that now. Greens are falling apart because of the crazy weed infestation. They basically have killed the greens. Pace of play has also been absolutely atrocious lately.

Fairways poor. greens terrible. Would not play their for 1/3 of the price.

For the price, greens were in bad shape. No range balls available.

Overall the course was a decent play expect when it came to the greens. We played Royal/Sable and about 15/18 greens were borderline unplayable.

We played this same course about a 5 weeks ago and they were no where near this bad.

The greens were terrible. Starter didn’t head us in the right direction.

The greens were nearly unplayable on certain holes due to large bare patches and weeds. The tee boxes also were bare and in very poor condition.

Grew up in SoFlo. Well before I started playing golf this was highly touted as a must play. I’ve only been at it 2-3 years and was highly disappointed. Horrendous greens, super patchy and whatever fertilizer they were using reeked of raw sewage on the entire course. It’s a shame because course itself is challenging and could be top notch if it was better kept. I’ve played courses half the price and 2x the quality.. living off name right now

Course conditions terrible. They have lost several greens. Low price is only redeeming factor. Sad to see as course layout is fun to play.

Got a good rate on golf now. But the greens were so bad that your ball bounced across them.

I used to play here often during COVID, and I really enjoyed it. However, on Friday, April 1st, 2024, I brought a colleague from Spain, driving from South Miami based on the fond memories I had. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. This has become, by far, the worst golf course I've ever played on. I'm accustomed to playing on average courses like Killian Greens, Palmetto, Briar Bay, and Redlands, but even those seem like PGA courses compared to Grand Palms. After finishing the first 9 holes, I inquired with the starter about which of the last 9 holes to play, considering the initial ones were in poor shape. I was told those first 9 were actually the best of the three courses they have.

Upon completing the game, we voiced our concerns about the conditions and were offered coins for the range as compensation. Once home, I compared pictures from my visits in 2021 and 2022, and the decline in quality was stark. I reached out to the manager hoping for at least a partial refund, but was refused. I even suggested updating their website to reflect the current conditions to prevent misleading other golfers, but my suggestion was ignored
