Grand/Royal at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club

About
Twenty seven championship holes await travelers visiting south Florida's scenic beaches. Grand Palms Golf & Country Club in Pembroke Pines also offers three nines: Royal, Sabal and Grand. All three are famous for having some of the best greens in the area, and the golf courses are played in three separate combos. The Grand/Royal 18, designed by Ward Northrup, comes in at 6,881, most of which is blanketed with palm trees and tropical foliage. The longest and most challenging of the Grand Palms' golf courses, Grand/Royal features some especially memorable water holes. A tight layout with raised greens (perfect for testing your shot-making talents), beware the Grand's bunkers, strategically placed along the greensides.

Nice round
Everything went smoothly
The course was in good shape
Just a nice round
Ok course
Course nice , just hard to find your way around to holes no directions. Lots of twists and turns .
Completely Neglected
The course could not be in worse shape. Can’t tell weeds from the fringe or fairway for that matter. No engagement from staff and zero amenities beyond a basic at best snack/hot dog counter. Once upon a time this was a desirable destination and I had not been in 9 years. Sad is about all I can say about the course.
Best for the money in So. FL
Nice 3x9 holes alternatives and challenging lay out. Course and facilities can easily be taken to the next level. Ideal to organize a true golf club.
Nice layout
I enjoyed the layout of the two 9's we played. The conditions were dry and a few greens were under repair in spots but overall I enjoyed the course and would play it again.
Sprinklers
Couldn’t putt my first 2 holes due to the sprinklers being turned on. Course was muddy and pert near unplayable ( because of sprinklers flooding some areas. Fairways were terrible
Last round of 90 hole golf trip
Kind of a shadow of its former self, but still a decent place to play. It was VERY slow, but was primarily due to one really slow foursome that did not seem to be golfers. The clubhouse was dirty and bar/restaurant not very clean or charming--may be doing renovations. Staff was excellent, more then made up for it--
