Sabal/Grand at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club
About
Located in Pembroke Pines, picturesque Grand Palms Golf & Country Club offers three nines: Royal, Sabal and Grand. The nine-hole courses are playable in three combos, with the Sabal/Grand coming in at a 6,682 yards. Of the three, Sabal/Grand is the most helter skelter, combining the shortest and longest nines. The Grand is a tight golf course that offers a challenge for most, what with its raised greens, narrow fairways and challenging water holes. Sabal, by contrast, is a resort-style play, with a gentler game featuring generous fairways and greens.

Horrible condition
I played here over 25 years ago when the courses were still maintained, it is no longer maintained at all, fairways, greens, tees, signage, all really bad, will not play it again
Better than it was last year. Hopefully they keep investing in the property.
Even with little rain
Newer carts are better with the cute little fuel gauge, lol.
Wife and I have no problem filling one or two divots left by good for nothing lazy SOB's besides our own , providing we have sand on cart to do so.
Would it really hurt to keep the few ball cleaners filled with water and maybe a few drops of soap and bleach.
On a hot day, which are most down here in Fl., again what few igloo coolers need to be refilled mid-day at least with more ice..
We have noticed an extreme lack of etiquette by mostly thr younger players, I do remember way back there used to be etiquette/rules booklets on the counter.
As for the course itself surprisingly great shape for the amount of play.
Very nice course
There were a lot of very nice holes, tee boxes and greens were in good shape. Thoroughly enjoyed the round 😎😊👍
Too Crowded
Waiting every hole, 6-some behind us hitting up on us, too many people let onto the course, tee boxes and fairways in terrible shape
Great Layout
Both 9 holes that I played were in good shape compared to other South Florida courses. I played the Grand and the Royal. The Royal is very challenging even from the shorter tee box. The bunkers have more sand than most of the South Florida courses Arne the greens were in excellent shape considering the drought conditions. The fees on Golf now made it an extremely affordable. Very friendly staff is a plus.
Trickier than it looks
At first glance this course looks routine, but once you get out there, you find a course with narrow landing areas that force you to make decisions on every hole. Not too make "just bomb it" holes. We played Grand and Sabal Very enjoyable.
Pleasantly Surprised
This course pleasantly surprised me. It was great value for the money. Nice fairways, greens were fairly good condition. The clubhouse needs a lot of help but great value.
Missing a Ranger
Didn’t expect much about the course conditions due to the green fee rates but never expected that several beginners would have showed up the same day! They are certainly missing a Ranger to manage the play pace. A Ranger with the same regularity as the cart girl would definitely help.
Just needs some work.
I booked on GolfNOW and I paid the $6 fee to lock in the good deal. When I arrived at the shop they tried to charge me an extra $25 dollars and when I mentioned the reservation price again the guy said “yea we are supposed to change that on golfnow” that’s pretty ridiculous that you advert and offer deals and prices that you otherwise aren’t going to honor. Other than that the pace of play was so so bad it literally took me 6 hours to play a round. Other than that everything was okay. I wish they wouldn’t let these young morons that scream and party on the golf coarse. It’s very distracting and they are messing up the pace of play.
