Grand palm

Good course layout. The course needs maintenance. The greens in certain areas need grass, many brown spots.. the sides of the fairway are too high and you loose balls very easy. Overall, it needs maintenance.

Worst course in South Florida

Played this course once years ago and left vowing to never give them my money again thanks to a front 9 that lasted over 3 hours. Everyone deserves a second chance, and decided to give them another try, but this time with an early morning tee time. Big mistake. After the first hole, I realized I've been got again. I would like to only say bring a pitch mark repair tool for the greens, but that's like a bringing a spoon to a construction site. I wish my dreams were as wildly optimistic as this course in calling these sandboxes a green. If we played strictly by ground under repair rules, we'd be dropping our balls straight into the hole and we'd hold a course record. Hit the fairway? Careful that "dirt" patch you landed on is a fire ant pile and you just rattled them by knocking on their door with a clear no soliciting sign.

Nobody ever likes seeing a course close for more cookie-cutter homes. But at this point it should considered cruel and unusual punishment to keep this course up.

Seriously, save your money.

Terrible conditions

Greens and in general all the golf course is in terrible conditions. No maintenance. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful course.

Greens or Sandtrap

Grand Palms is 3, 9 hole courses, that have wide fairways and small greens. It is always a good day when you are playing golf but the unfortunately, the greens were so bad.

The greens were either patchy and missing whole sections of grass, or covered in sand and rolling the ball was an unforeseen challenge. I am normally a 10-12 handicap and golf 3x a month. These are the worst greens I’ve been on in over 30 years of playing golf. I hate to write this, but they were terrible.

From Bad to Worse

I don’t know what’s going on or what the challenges are, but don’t play Grand Palms. It was horrible for a few months, then it got a little better, and now is really bad. I don’t recommend it at all.

Horrible Conditions

Don't waste your time/money. I've never seen greens this bad in my life. Tee boxes and fairways are only slightly better than the greens. I don't know what's going on at this course, but it's gone downhill fast. $40 is too much. It's literally "hit and hope" on the greens due to how patchy/bumpy each green is. I wish I took pictures because it's hard to describe how poor everything looks. Played Sabal/Grand if that matters (but I doubt Royal is any better).
