Horrible course
This was the worst course I have ever played at. The conditions were awful! The tee boxes were hard with no grass and the greens were bumpy and had crab grass. The fairways were a mess. We thought it was a joke. We paid about $77 pp for greens fees and cart and you couldn't pay me to play there again. What a waste of money!
Worst value for your money. Go somewhere else.
Course very over priced for quality of tees, greens and fairways. Not worth any more than 35.00. Greens have weeds, poor tee offs and fairways are so,so. By the way, I have played the Reverse Course there and it is worst. Have a great day.
Greens awful - fairways no grass & brown - nice layout-
Nice layout
Fairways were in rough shape, some t boxes as well, greens were decent
Nice layout. Course conditions could be better
This Arnold Palmer design is a nice layout - easy off the tee for short hitters but challenging the longer you hit. However the course was very dry and fairways were brown and like hitting off hard pan. Better lies in the rough. Greens had dead patches and crabgrass in spots.
Nice people - pro shop etc
Greens were awful -layout fun - greens a mess - waste of money -
Not worth the money terrible shape
Was really looking forward to this course and was really disappointed as the course conditions were awful, nice layout but course is being neglected.
Too Pricey Poor Condition
Disappointed... Management needs to spend money to improve this course. Green fees too high for the condition of course . Golf Now should remove this course from their website. We have played many courses here in Florida for the last five year this is the worst course we played.
Waste of money. Will not return & will not recommend to our friends.
DOG TRACK
I came down to stay at my condo at Mystic Dunes last weekend. I had a tee time which i canceled because the course is in really bad shape plus construction of new units. So i booked the legends on golfnow which was $75. Small buck of range balls is $10 and large is $14. Dont be fooled by the practice green the real greens have 3 different types of grass and i swear i putted through a patch of creaping jenny. The whole place course is a mess. The Integrity group more like NO INTEGRITY Arnold would be disappointed.
This course went down hill
Played in January course was in decent shape thought we would play it again. The fairways were very bad and the greens were slow and bumpy.
Nice for beginners
I played with my wife who is just learning the game. We were able to golf with just the two of us with no one pressuring us. I played from the back tees and there are some plenty challenging part 3's. Fairways were in good shape. Greens were fair. Would play this course again.
something wrong here
not the course of years past...really need to move ball on every shot to find any grass...greens very sub par...course looks like management has decided not to spend money on up keep or there are financial problems...staffing and speed of play was very good
In Need of Care
As usual, the Palmer design was very interesting, enjoyable and challenging - very thoughtful. Management, however, was lacking. Scorecard photocopies (not originals), no range balls available, very rough tees and greens and very dry conditions. Several other courses in the area were in much better shape.
This could be a premier course if it were better cared for.
Orange lake reserve
This course is in a mess. The fairways were in very bad shape hardly anys good grass and the greens were just average. This was my first time at this course but for the price you can find better courses in the same area. I don't know if it's the lack of water but they really need to do something about their fairways.
Andre
This used to be a great course!!
I have never given a bad review before but I feel I have to here. I have played this course in the past and it was in great shape, not anymore! We had a group of 8 guys playing and were very disappointed, the course has gone down the drain, much like Metro West did last year. Fairways are void of grass, needs a lot of water and fertilizer I think? Greens have weeds and are very thin. This a very accurate review so take my advice, don't play here unless they give you a rate of under $40.00 per round. And I would just stay away until the management changes and they get this beautiful layout back in to shape>
Course conditions not great
Owner at the resort for 10 years. This is the worst I have seen it.
That being said, it has been a dry winter. We flew from Canada to play Orange lake courses. Disappointing to see the conditions....But it sure beats what we have back home.
Staff were great. No issues there at all
Scenic layout but in poor condition
Scenic layout in a lovely resort but the course was in very poor condition.
Horrible Conditions
I have been playing here for 20+ years and this is the worst conditions I have ever seen. Apparently integrity golf has taken over the last three years and have ruined what was above Average conditions. Can't blame it on the weather since the other course which is nine holes, cranes bend, is in fine shape. Their fairways are what we were used to playing on at the reserve. Tremendous amount of work to be done
Over-priced!!
We paid $50 per player but the course was in terrible conditions. The greens and fairways were not maintained to the level expected for this course,
What a shame
Wonderful layout, deplorable course condition. Must be lack of money or need a new grounds keeper. Yes, we have not had a lot of rain but I play frequently and other courses are in good shape. I played this course several months ago and it was in fair to good shape. You frequently needed to roll your ball in the fairway to find a tuff of grass. This course is so negligted they will need major funds to bring it back. I will say the greens are good although dry. No ice and water on course. One highlight, the cart girl was wonderful and came around frequently.
