Great course
Best course I’ve ever played on. Not a great golfer but was looking for something good for a friends bachelor party. 10/10
Course solid - Restaurant and staff there simply amazing!
Had a great 4.5 hour round - it’s a Saturday and we’re where we want to be.. so, perhaps a little slow, but pleasant nonetheless. A little disappointed with the integrated cart speaker system - seems some golfers simply don’t want to enjoy, particularly let other golfers, south Florida’s natural sounds..
The restaurant, and our bartender/waitress Carolina - simply outstanding. The best Turkey Rueben ever.. and the service.. awesome!
Will definitely be back for golf and of course for a meal!!
A day of golf
Haven’t played this course in a couple of years since they changed it a bit and gave it a new name but conditions were excellent and course was challenging What I didn’t understand was the rating of it I thought the course deserved a lot higher slope and stroke rating than they gave it It was a lot tougher track than its rating
Saltleaf review
Course is mildly difficult. The layout is great. Amenities are perfect A+ The only complaint with round was a good fairway drive left you on hardpan fairway many time. Needs some water
Overall very good and will go again
Bad timing
The greens had just been aerated and were in horrible conditions. Unable to putt chip and did not enjoy. Waste of money and the fact they don’t tell you of the conditions is like stealing your money. Call first!!!!!!
Brand new course, with great features and wonderful staff.
Frontline is very unforgiving so be prepared for that. Back Nein is more forgiving. Awesome staff very well maintained absolutely beautiful course.
Love The Salt
I've played it 4 times since becoming Saltleaf, played Raptor Bay before and enjoyed it also, but this tweaking of this course is very enjoyable.
Can't wait for Google Map and Garmin collaborate on this new lay out..even though the Navis on the carts are top notch..
Pace of play is hit or miss, I never understood why golfers are always paired up in Foursome, getting to know new friends thru golf is one of my favorite things about this great sport. You have singles and twosomes who want to only play by themselves and then they get upset because a Foursome is holding them up..Makes no sense. I understand there will be times when sending out only Foursomes is impossible..but the single golfers, the twosome must accept pace of play.
New Course; great staff
From the pro shop to the starter we had a great time. We enjoyed the player assigned with us and enjoyed the course. The directions were a little challenging, and it had been aerated abut a week before. Despite those challenges, we had a great time.
Beautiful! But that range???
Great course that will challenge you from the proper tees. Very nice condition even after a greens punching. I can't believe that such a nice course has a 60yard long netted driving range and no chipping area. Worth a few visits in the off season.
Ruined
Well, they managed to ruin one of the most natural nicest golf courses in the area. I played raptor Bay 100 times. It was a great layout, which is something they don’t want you to believe.
But hey! They got the city to allow them to build a bunch of high-rises so that’s wonderful.
Worst pace of play ever experienced
The course conditions and staff were great. It
appeared that they booked tee times 5 minutes apart. We are by no means scratch golfers but waited 5 minutes before taking every shot.
