Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club

Wondeful layout and condition! My only real complaint is that the cart paths don't come anywhere close to the tee boxes or greens, and carts are routed to the side at least 50 yards before greens. If you hit it right of the green and the path is left, you're walking a huge distance, and sometimes you can's see just what your shot's going to be. I carried 3 wedges across the course 3 times only to find I needed a club I didn't have. If you're 20 yards short, it's a walk to and from the ball, then move the cart yet again and walk 30 yards to the green. Also, we had an 11 AM tee time in busy season and the cafe was closed when we finished.

Pace today was poor. Some type of college match play several holes ahead backing up the course. Evidently they thought they were playing for a million dollar prize! All groups behind suffered through this frustration. Perhaps leave a big block of open tee times behind a match like this to provide a better experience for everyone.

Played as a single with 2 foursomes in front of me. Wait was not too bad... played in 4.25 hours. North course was in great condition.

I played the South course last month and I do like the north quartz a little bit better. Pretty much wide open with a lot of bunkers which I hit many of them.

Bueatiful day on the course. First time playing the North side. It didn't disappoint! Much more open than the South side. The course was in absolute perfect shape from tee to green. Lake Jovita is an outstanding place to play golf.

Beautiful weather on a beautiful course. It was pretty windy which added even more challenge to a challenging course. Course was in perfect shape...every tee to every green. I can't wait to play Jovita again.

The greens were great. Play the blues and the par 3s were a big challenge. Fairways very hard and dry. Nice course. Two groups of men let me thru as a single. Ladies would not let me thru. Typical.

Always love playing either Jovita course. Fun layout, nice condition, and tough fast sloped greens.

This is strictly a review for the day because I give them a 5 star rating in all my other reviews.

The course was in great shape for this time of year.

The club was hosting a large 3-day senior outing, so there were no carts available on time. Teed off late. Ended up waiting 15 minutes for every shot. Left after 10 holes.

The staff did the best they could and were very polite and helpful.

After playing this one other time last year, we went back to the South course. it was a Monday and play was incredibly quick. Had the course to ourselves for a while. This is one of the best courses I've played on the west coast of Florida and using a golf now app were able to play for the low price of $55 a man including cart ..which had GPS to the pin measurements

everyone was super friendly and I will be back despite the one hour drive from where I live during season.
