Lely Resort - GreenLinks Villas

It’s tricky finding good courses in Naples that open up tee times to the public. Lely doesn’t miss. I registered as a single but ended up playing with Florida Mike and had a great time. Great value, great course.

Lely Mustang is a great course! The fairways and tea boxes are in great shape. The greens were a little bit slow. Otherwise I would call it very good. Course layout does give you some challenges which I really like.

Great value.

I’ve played this course many, many times over the past 10 years. Yesterday, they had fertilized the fairways, and the smell was unpleasant. That said, I got a discounted rate, and it was all good. I love the Mustang course.

I was very excited to book a round at Lely Resort - Mustang course. I played here a few months ago and loved everything about it. However, conditions have changed since I came here last. Below I have listed some of the things I disliked about the course unlike my previous experience,

- Hitting off artificial turf on the driving range

- Greens are overgrown and were extremely slow.

This is my second time playing this course while vacationing in nearby Marco Island. As always, starting from the cart guys, starter and pro shop, very good experience. It was very hot, but the cart is supplied with towels and cold water. Did not see anyone in the course in the afternoon because of the extreme heat but it was perfect for us. Will definitely go back next summer.

Played the course after some serious downpours this week and it was in remarkably good shape. Cart Path only on just 3 holes. Got 16 holes before the inevitable SW FL afternoon thunderstorms kicked in. Bit frustrating that my 11 year old was charged full rate when other courses in area are very accommodating for kids. Very good course with plenty of options for all abilities/ages.

The golf experience was excellent, great course, amenities, outside staff. The golf pro shop staff was horrible. Insulting and demeaning. I checked in about an hour and 30 minutes because i am on vacation and we had 1 car. My wife dropped me off early as she was meeting an aunt for lunch. The staff made sure to let me know that check in for future reference is 30 minutes before my scheduled time. I was not asking to go off early. He made sure that I played behind a 3 some followed by a 2 some . Not a soul in front of them for at least 45 minutes. The restaurant staff was very friendly as well.

Really fun course I was first time off and completed 18 holes in 2 hours. I was not charged the Golf Pass rate of 89.00 but instead charged 103.00. Not a big deal , but make sure you are charged the rate you were given if using Golf Pass.

Allowed a slow twosome to dictatate pace of play for the entire course. Even though I saw a ranger twice and I called the clubhouse, a sloew move twosomedictated pace of play all day long. Staff could not have cared less. The NUMBER ONE problem with golf todayand course managers simply do not care.

The course is in great shape...had a great time and cant wait to go back

Appreciated the staff letting us out early especially because of the temperature.
