Nice course
Pretty nice place. I don't know if it is worth $140. Starter was the man! Arrived a little late and he got me out with no problem. Probably would play again.
Very good track
This is one well-designed golf course. Every shot has difficulty but is fair -- fairway bunkers pinch aggressive drives and green side bunkers (and occasionally water) pinch green entrances. The greens are very interesting, with large variations in where pins can be placed. There are also much greater elevation changes than on any Florida course that I have played, and these changes are put to good use.
Course was in good, but not great, condition -- greens were excellent. Rest of course will be returfed and rehabbed in coming months, and this will improve things. But the design here is the star.
A pleasure to play
One of my favorite Florida courses. Course condition was good as usual. Green speed was about 8. Would have preferred them to be 9 or 9.5.
Good course - poorly managed
It’s a good course, not worth $229 but a really good layout. Greens are in good shape this year. Unfortunately you are up against American Golf Corp who choose profit over service. I play here all the time and the staff is always in a bad mood. When you are paying $200 plus you are expecting a pretty great experience. Much friendlier at The Classics but that’s not open to public.
Golf rounds usually move at a good pace. Looking forward to well needed renovation on Flamingo.
For $159, there are better places
Course was in dire need of a sprinkler being turned on. Most of the holes were good, but a few literally have no bailout where you don’t then have a super challenging short sided shot as a result. Would play again for half the price. It’s ok, just not worth the money.
