The course is undergoing irrigation replacement, so 2 holes are always going to be closed thru out the summer, they tell you that you can play some other 2 holes twice but that's hard to do when you have people all over the course, I think they said that all holes are open on the weekends, also we played on a Monday and there were no cart girls which really sucked.

Hot and moderately windy the day we played. So, there was no one in front or behind us all day. The Greens ran a little slow but were true and puttable. Several fairways had bare spots and need some work But, all in all it was a great layout and a great place to play. My buddy and I would play it again in a heart beat.

Awesome golf course, greens were lightly top dressed which didn’t really affect your putts at all. Fairways were the best we played on this spring.

Staff was friendly and accommodating both on course and in the clubhouse! Always a quality adventure at Mission Inn. Thanks to all!

Great value course in the area. Solid pace of play since El Campeon is the primary course. Course in great condition as well as greens.

A pleasure to play this course. The staff is very welcoming and the food at Knickers is very good.

This review is limited to El Campeon which is a magnificent and unique value in Central Florida. It's sister course, Los Colinas, although very nice in it's own right, is a more traditional course found throughout Florida's gated communities.

But El Campeon had it all, elevation changes, old Florida tree canopy, challenging and unqiue holes, and scenic views. It is definitely worth the drive from Central Florida and when compared to the other courses in Lake County, is top of the list.

The facilities are very nice and the staff was friendly and courteous. My only complaint would be the pace of play, as I several groups in front of me had golf ball fisherman who would spend more time looking for lost golf balls in the water than playing golf.
