A number of fairways were exceptionally dry with very little playable grass.

Greens were difficult, but in good condition.

I live in the area and have had a chance to play this course several times in the past. Suffice it to say, I wasn't very impressed with the conditions. The course has a cool layout and the holes are challenging, but the maintenance left a lot to be desired. However, this round was a total revelation. The conditions were so much better. The tee boxes were immaculate, the fairways we lush and the greens rolled true and fair without blemishes. It's a super fun course that is enjoyable to play for any handicap. yet it has some really tough holes that demand good shotmaking. I would not have recommended Mystic Dunes before this incredible turnaround in quality, but I will (and have already) recommend it now!

I played Mystic Dunes today with my friend and had a great time! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the course layout but the greens were tough. I made this mistake of hitting my ball above the hole a few times. Very challenging! The course sn’t in perfect condition, but what course is during the winter. Spring is just around the corner and I can’t wait to come back to see this course green and lush like I expect it will be.

Played today and liked the course, you can tell the grass is starting to green up coming out of winter, a few fairways are a bit thin, Greens rolled really nice. I can’t wait to come back. Staff was great.

I don’t usually write reviews after I play but was scrolling and reading some of the stuff written and needed to set some things straight.

I played this course several times over the past few months and every time I play I am pleasantly surprised at how much work is being done to improve it. . Being a Florida native I understand the grass is dormant this time so I give the course a break for its out of their control. I come back time and again for the challenge. The greens are fast and undulating. You need your A game for this course. The staff is super friendly and efficient. Not sure what happened in the restaurant but the food isn’t as good as I remember from last season. All in all I definitely recommend this course and will keep returning to get my butt kicked! Live the challenge!

Where do I start? Starter sent us off as a twosome in amongst foursomes was the first thing. Every hole on the golf course is in poor condition. Worthless waste bunkers all over that your ball rolls into ditches, ratty, tee boxes, spiked up poorly, kept greens, And poorly cut holes. We paid $120 to play this dirt track. I wouldn’t play this course again if they gave me a lifetime free membership. It would never get used. They need to level the course and put up some mobile homes. It would be perfect for that setting.

This course is not worth over the $100 that they are charging. First time playing the course and I was extremely underwhelmed. Because of the severe undulation of the greens most were burnt out and had sand on them which was tough to putt through and a lot of dead cups that affected the roll of the ball. The fairways barely had grass on them felt like I spent 5 hours hitting off sand and weeds. Most tee boxes were ok but the Par 3 tees were completely trashed and left you hitting off of sand as well. I would not recommend this golf course to anyone unless things change drastically.

This golf course should be leveled. And under no, uncertain terms, it’s a dog track. Every fairway,tee box, the hole layout, condition around the greens, condition of the greens, and every other square inch of this golf course is a dog track.

How this golf course got a four star rating is beyond me. It’s been a long time since I’ve played out there and I certainly wouldn’t return. It only survives because of its location. Why someone would want to support what they’re trying to do out, there is beyond me. Run from going out there to spend $120. I wouldn’t pay $20 to play this course again and if they offered me a lifetime membership, I would never use it!

Some bad raps but probably bad golfers had great time would play again loved the staff

The. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the course layout is very good.Some of the greens are too severe.The course conditions are average.Not worth the price.

The course was in rough shape despite it raining the two days before I played. Greens are tough and rolled well.

Pace of play is an issue - we started 30 minutes after our tee time and the round took 5 hours.

Overall our group will never play MD again and not to be recommended to anyone. Best to sell to four seasons for much needed housing in the area.

Staff in the pro shop excellent, the starter excellent. The older gentleman in charge of the carts was very unprofessional and definitely had an issue with us being from Canada on a golf trip. We play this course a couple times every year and due to this guy it will be our last time at this course. Only saw the beer cart on the back 9 and she was finishing for the day.

I played last week, course was busy and starting to green up after a cold start to 2025, A couple of tee boxes were thin and so were a couple of the early fairways, no big deal Florida winter golf. Otherwise, Mystic is back, greens are rolling nice, can’t wait to play again!!
