Phenomenal

This track is in mint shape! Played here twice in the past week. We played here several years back and it was decent , but nowhere near the level it’s at now! The course is in great shape from beginning to end. Greens are fast and challenging. Fairways are tremendous . The started and rangers are extremely friendly and pace of play has been great. Highly recommend !

Decent course. Price is a little high for the conditions At the moment. Everybody at the course was great except the pro shop. Why they have to be so rude and unwelcoming I’ll never understand. Would play again for a hot deal price only.

Worst greens ever

Nice golf staff, pro shop and starter very nice. Pro shop was good and had actually some nice hats and logo was cool.

Here comes the bad.

Putting green was horrible. Holes hadn’t been moved in a while so putting around holes was chewed up. Greens were slow. Ok I can live with some slowness. Then I got to course and it got worst. First hole I was like that’s a lot of bumps and slopes but ok.

Second hole was a joke. Putting green was a a joke. The slopes and bumps and slopes were not puttsble. The just kept getting dumber, with more tiers and slopes and peaks in the middle of the greens and sloping off every where. By the time I played 8th hole I wish I didn’t come

To this course and waste time and money . This course needs new greens. Then the quality if the overall grass and maintenance was terrible. It needs a lot of TLC for grass. Layout also poor. I have been coming to play golf in Orlando for 20 years and will never play this course again.

Honest review

I wanted to come play this to give people and honest review . I have play every course in the greater orlando area. Hilton bought this course back in 2023 and killed th entire course and promise a great renovation. Sadly it is the same old mystic dunes . For your value I will list every course in the area that is in much better condition . Providence , celebration , Orange County national , southern dunes , champions gate , white heron , royal Saint Cloud . I live here and have seen all the courses raise the rates over there years and since mystic is a resort course they can get away with it . It is a $50 dollar max course . It has a good layout with interesting holes but it just doesn’t play well . If you’re visiting and can only play a couple of courses you will be much happier playing some of the courses I mentioned above .

Excellent Course

Had the pleasure of playing Mystic Dunes for the first time. I booked the time as a single joining a 3-ball & called the golf shop to see if my partner could ride along with me and they accommodated with no issue.

Once I got to the course they even moved things around so I can play on my own on a busy Sunday which I thought was very nice. Pace of play was surprisingly extremely quick given I was a single & they were very busy.

Very fun layout. Greens roll true & fast. Always nice playing a track where you get to use all of your clubs. Par 3s really make you think about your approach. All staff greeted us with a smile and were very nice. Definitely will be coming back next time I am in the area.

High price for course conditions

I want to like this course despite having a couple of goofball greens. I have played it a few times when visiting Orlando. The first time was right after some course renovations and I could understand the conditions. I think spring is a tough time to judge course conditions in Orlando but there are courses (like Grande Vista) that know how to do it. Every time I finish a round, the same cart guy (very friendly) gives me the same song and dance about how the course was recently renovated. This time I told him it has been 2 years and they need to change their sad story. Anyway the course is a bit far from where we stay in Orlando and maybe not worth the drive. If you play, be aware the 18th hole is very difficult...it is really hard to keep a driver in play if you have any length...I cannot play driver there. A good tee shot is rewarded with a very long approach into a narrowing tree tunnel to the green. Do not miss right! Par is a good result on that hole.

not great condition

Loved the layout of the course but our group of Canadians was sadly disappointed at the condition of the course, in comparison to the others we played, especially considering the price comparison. We are deciding to not book again for 2026, regrettably.

Not worth the money

We played on Monday 12/29. Starter said the course was busy but is moving at a 4 hr pace. Well 5 1/2 hours later we finished our round. We wait for a five some on ever hole. And they were playing behind another 5 some. Course conditions were poor at best. Tee’s and fwys were mediocre at best, while the greens are not good at all. Large bare spot with no grass and just sand. Not a place you want to spend $100 for a round of golf and get this product. Save your money if you plan on golfing here. This is a Hilton property and I am a Hilton diamond lifetime member and play Hilton properties all over the country. This is by far one of the worst I have played.

Really disappointed!

I played this course several times and love the course and layout. Conditions are not always the best but I can look past that is the layout is good. But I was really disappointed the last round I played. It took 5 hours to play 16 holes, on a Monday!

I quit after the 16th, one of the attendants said I should tell the pro shop. Well the person in the pro shop looked me at me like I had 3 eyes. Didn’t say a thing, no apology, no rain check, nothing.

That’s a really poor attitude. For as much as I like the course, will not go back.

Nice Round

The staff was very friendly and the course was in nice shape for the most part. The tee boxes and fairways were in great shape considering there has been little to no rain the last couple of months. The pace of play was great, we played 18 in right at 4 hours. Unfortunately, there were a number of greens that had numerous large patches with no grass, only sand/dirt showing and unfortunately the cup was around these areas so you had no choice put to putt through them. Was able to purchase the rounds through Group Golfer for $59 each and that was a fair price, would not pay the current rack rate to play the course.

Not in good shape

The course is not in good shape, needs a lot of work. The layout of the course is great, holes are designed well with a couple driveable par 4's if you're a big hitter. The grass was not in good shape with lots of bare spots and a few of the greens were in need of some TLC. The bunkers look like waste bunkers even though they aren't with the darker way too firm sand for being in Florida. This course is no way a good value for cost especially since this is a Hilton property. Even the logo ball needs an overall in design.

Way overpriced!!

We got a deal on Groupgolfer for $59 which seemed a good deal when similar tee times that day were $100 but unfortunately not the case! It soon transpired that we were playing behind a 5 ball, none of whom were very good which made them even slower. The starter explained at length how the course was like a links course so pitch your ball short of the green, when in fact balls were stopping where they pitched so he was well informed!! The greens were poor with massive patches under repair and as for the pin positions - on one hole you putted the ball uphill inches past the hole and it rolled back 10 feet towards you!! Not a great experience, had much more fun at a couple of other, much cheaper courses nearby.

12/4/2025 Mystic Dunes Review

I would rate it overall a four out of five stars. It had been a year since my group last played and two holes in we remembered why we don’t play it often. While the layout is excellent as is the maintenance the slopes of the green s are extreme. Three putting for a mid to high handicap golfer should be expected. Flatter greens would make this course a must play course.

Nice but greens need improving.

Course is being worked on and the greens still need time. Some tee boxes need work as well.

Had fun and worth the $60.

Perfect course for all players

Mystic Dunes was absolutely flawless. I was told that it’s currently under new management over the last year couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Greens were in great shape. Definitely wasn’t overplayed. Great scenery. Loved it!

Never saw the cart girl even after speaking to the pro shop n starter. Resort greens fees with no caring about the golfers. Greens were fast but some were in poor condition.

Not worth the money. No effiort to acknowledge our request. Never again. Too many choices.
