Never Again
The course was in very poor shape. The fairways were splotchy and in consistent, the greens were extremely slow and not well groomed, and the sand traps didn’t have sand.

Pete Dye Disappointment
Played Oak Marsh 3 Days after they had 6 inches of rain. For the $100+ price tag, the fairways were still full of debris, the sand traps appear to have never to be raked and the cart paths and waste areas appear to have no had no maintenance for years. The Pete Dye influence is no longer recognizable as they have left the trees and the bushes to become overgrown. The only saving grace was the pro shop reception was quite friendly. Recommend spending your money elsewhere

Oak Marsh
Had a great time, staff was friendly and although it was my first time on the property, I definitely felt welcome. Joined a group and had a lot of fun. Course had taken on a good amount of rain the day before and it showed. Lots of casual water and the greens were on the slow side. Bunkers were in excellent condition considering the prior day. Rented clubs all could stand to be regripped except the 56-degree wedge and putter. Found it odd that the driver on a regular flex shaft was set at 9 degrees. This is a nice facility, with a decent driving range, putting green and carts with GPS. The overall maintenance is a little lacking. I would go back and play it again.

Great course!
Course is a challenging but fair course. Was in great condition and the staff was friendly and helpful. The pace of play was perfect and players were spaced out so you never felt rushed. Will definitely play there again when I’m back in Florida.

The course layout makes it a potentially great course but the Omni has does not appear to spend much in maintaining its beauty. The staff are very helpful but the course conditions at the price they charge is not worth it. The Amelia River course is better maintained

Awful Condition
Oak Marsh has a great layout and great views, but the course conditions were awful for the price we paid. The facilities are a bit lacking.

In rough shape
Patchy fairways. Bumpy greens. Great Pete Dye layout ruined by poor maintenance.

Oak Marsh 3.8.22
Beautiful course, in great shape. Lots of water. Semi-tough, but fair course. 190 yards off blue tees would land you in most fairways. Clubhouse and restaurant staff was excellent. I'm a 22 handicapper and I enjoyed the course.

Tough Pete Dye layout
Beautiful course layout with several holes along side or over the Marsh. Check out to back tees on #16. Fairways and tees were a little sparse, often hitting off dirt. I’m not sure if it’s due to the time of year (early March). However playing at Sawgrass 2 days earlier, it was night and day conditions. Sawgrass was very lush. Overall it’s worth playing due to the Pete Dye layout and beauty.

Poor Value
For a 120-140$ round of golf the conditions were just not worth it. It’s mainly the front 9 that the condition does not match the price. Fairways were super patchy and bare. Greens were patchy, had weed spots and were quite bumpy and slow for an ~8-15 tee time . The areas around the greens were quite frankly awful. Sometimes even in the fringe/collar area even was a bit bare but more than 5 yards off the green there was no grass and impossible to chip up to the green with how much runoff each green seemed to have.
For whatever reason the conditions on the back 9 were noticeably better and much more worth the price but nothing that left me satisfied with the overall value considering the front 9.
It’s a fun layout being that it’s a short course (6600-6700 tipped out) that’s pretty tight for the most part. The back 9 has holes on the marsh with the last 3 all being right on the marsh that are nice.
