One of Our Favorites
Oak Marsh is our favorite course to play in the area. You cannot beat the course conditions, quality of layout and staff friendliness.
Great Layout !
Firstly, this is a challenging golf course. In true Dye fashion, if you miss…you pay. Many waste areas, turtle back greens, strategically placed hazards…it’s got it all. The sweeping marsh views to finish the round are second to none. The staff and pro shop were great. I don’t know if it was the time of year but the course conditions didn’t exactly match the 150 price of admission. The layout made up for it but there was much to be desired as far as conditions. There were leaves and debris all over the course….greens and fairway edges clearly hadn’t been blown off for a minute. Very thin around the edges and around the greens. Greens rolled fine…. A little too fine lol , tough to hold. With this layout the course should be totally world class but it seems to need a bit of attention. With that said , no regrets… I’d play it again.

Greens were in great shape and over seeded to be green. Fairways were over seeded too, but a bit bare. Same for tee boxes. Range was pretty good. Good pace of play. And friendly staff.

Perfect Day for Golf
This is our favorite course in the area. We have played it several times during our visit and during past visits. The course is in very good shape. The starter re-arranges groups to provide the most enjoyable round for the golfer. The course is fair and enjoyable both for my wife and me. I highly recommend it. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

Nice track, would play it again.
Played 18 as a two-some, Ron the starter was able to work his magic and get us out a little early, with 5 foursomes of the mens club headed out before us. Front 9 is tight and will challenge your ball placements, back 9 opens up more and the back has beautiful views of the marsh areas as you make your way back in. Greens in great shape, very quick and pin placements were tough. Good variety of tees and length, with the ability to “play up” if you’re a mid handicapper.

If You Like Target Golf, This Course is For You
This is a resort course at one of the finest resorts in the area. It is very well maintained and many holes run along the marsh, which gives it a unique feel. It is a pretty challenging course -- not too narrow, but plenty of obstacles. It is quite short for a chapionship course though 6,600 yards from the tips and 6,000 from the gold tees. Because of that, there are several par 4s that are tricked up to make it difficult. You really can't hit driver on those holes. I'm not a big fan of this type of layout, hence my layout rating is 3. but if you like that style, it's well done. The last three holes are really cool.

Nice layout but conditions were less than average.
Very nice layout. 8 good/great scenic holes while the other 10 were just average. Conditions were well below average. Friendly staff and pace of play was average at best.

Great Place
The golf course was in outstanding condition, friendly pro shop staff, and great club house grill and bar. All is great, but all is expensive as well.

A Favorite
We have played the course several times - twice on this trip plus one or two more planned. The layout is great with a nice practice and putting area. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Not worth half the price...of a hot deal
Don't waste your money like I did. Worth maybe $45 for the great marsh views. Conditions are nowhere near the pictureskline. Look at my pictures on my Google review. Staff was great and worked well to make it enjoyable. I got a hot deal for $80 and was highly disappointed. My knee consolation is I didn't pay the $120 they want for regular rate. Ridiculous..

Love the view, course not in great shape
They got us off early so our twosome was behind a three some so the pace of play was less than 4 hours.. Greens were quick and in decent shape. Fairways and tee boxes need some sun and heat to fill in the bare spots. Overall enjoyed playing the course but was expecting it to be In better shape. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Enjoyable Course
For a Pete Dye design the course it is pretty playable. There are not too many crazy, difficult holes. The course is challenging but fun to play. The 20-30 mph winds made some shots very difficult. On the 18th hole I hit a great wedge and the wind blew it back almost to the hazard.

Omni Oak Marsh
Nice layout and friendly staff. The course could use a little TLC as most of the holes had patches in the fairways. The greens rolled nice and were very quick. I’ll definitely play here again.
