Orlando World Center Marriott

Played here as part of a 6 day, 7 course golf trip. I usually don't play here often due to the cost but we splurged and the guys I played with loved it. The course is interesting as it is not long but requires accuracy and the greens are diabolical in how fast they are. I do appreciate the layout but some holes, like the first par 5, require two short shots before going at the green. Also, the last hole, which is a par 3, is a 200 yard carry to basically an island green that is the number 1 handicap hole. Strange to finish on that. I think flipping the 9s would make more sense. It is a gorgeous course and I definitely would play here again if it was on a discounted rate.

We had a blast playing this course. The excitement started after we hit the bag drop. Driving to park our rental car a ball came over the clubhouse and landed in the parking lot narrowly missing a couple of cars. The staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. Hit some balls on the range and headed out. The course conditions were good and the pace of play was great. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

One note - we only saw the beverage cart twice and drinks are expensive.

Had a fun round at HLGC, but to be honest, not sure if it’s worth the true price point. Especially after the $60 rental club fee.

Course was in decent shape, dry in certain areas but manageable.

Greens were crazy fast but that really wasn’t a deterrent,

I’ve just seen courses in better condition for a cheaper price point.

Poor course management, paired me with a 2 some that only played 9 holes. I paid for 18, but as a single playing the back was impossible, no one tried to help me "fit in". Ending up having to just leave. By now the pro shop was closed, I mentioned the issue to a few guys, but they could have cared less. $129 + tax for 9 holes .. pretty steep

We had a fun day, great weather, nicely kept course, A lot of water and lost balls but still worthwhile. The one negative - there was nothing open at the clubhouse to buy food or beverages. We were provided 2 bottles of water and told the beverage cart would be around. It's too hot and sunny not to provide more hydration. The beverage cart attendant did not seem eager to stop. She by passed us the first round when we asked for ice and told us it was in the cart - which it was but there were no cups, She wasn't going to stop the second and last time on the back 9 until we had to chase her down.

Really enjoyed the golf course. Greens were very nice. Fairways were very good most holes.

From the moment you arrive you are surrounded by a true resort course. Great staff and layout, fast greens, lots of water carry, bring your A game. Not for beginners or intermediate. This is a pro level course. You will be challenged but feel like a pro. Thank you!A level amenities and design!

Enjoyed it enough to book a second tee time after I left the course! With course knowledge; knew I could post better than a 85. Greens putted true, but need to avoid downhill chips and putts are essential.

Team - pro shop, bag room, on course food and beverage - all offered great and friendly service and support.

Orlando offers many courses; but this one for a relaxing and good pace of play for a resort course, should be at the top of your list.

Beautiful day, beautiful course, what’s not to like?

Wasn't my favorite course. Seemed tight in places, with a fair amount of water. Felt like it was squeezed into the property between the hotels, amenities, etc.

Course was beautiful, staff was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend playing here.

Nicely laid out challenging golfcourse in very good condition. First nine around hotel complex; second nine more in open terrain. Value for money!

Very well kept course. The greens were in excellent condition. Nice pro shop, friendly staff.

Hawks lLanding is a nice, challenging course. The staff was extremely friendly and the course layout is solid. There is water on 15 of the holes and it forces you to be accurate with both tee and approach shots. The cost is high for what you get but overall it’s a nice spot

The greens are Runs! Were running 12 yesterday.

I had so many par putts turned to bogey or worse. Was pretty frustrating but fair.

A few green are you better be short then long- nothing behind the green just quick downhill and the water.

Pace of play was on slow side but not the worse. I wish there are marshal watching but, really, how many courses are following old protocols with pace of play?

Play was slow, they allowed 2 walkers paired up with two riders in group in front of us. It wasn’t unbearable but I’m used to playing ready golf. Course conditions were great. Layout was awesome. Great greens with minor POA Annua especially on 18th green. Island green hole (#18) suck a wild finishing hole. All in all a 7/10 experience for me. $190 is too much though.
