PGA National Resort & Spa
About PGA National Resort & Spa
Golf fans know PGA National particularly for the Champion Course, the extremely challenging host of the PGA Tour's Honda Classic. But PGA National has far more to offer, too: four other, tamer golf courses plus an ever-improving lodging and dining complement, including the excellent Ironwood Steakhouse just off the resort's main lobby.Facts

Clever green contouring can go a long way toward amping up the intrigue of an individual hole. That's the case with the false front at The Palmer's 4th. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 12/29/2017

The uneven edging of this bunker at The Palmer's 8th is intentional and gives it a naturalistic look. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 12/29/2017

The Palmer's highlight hole was the par-5 18th, and now it's even more attractive. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 12/29/2017

Greens are Fast & True!
Great turf conditions. Greens are fast and true. Plays like a resort course from the tee boxes, very generous landing areas. Some water and forced carries on the longer holes. Great value for the conditions. Staff is friendly. Challenging layout when the wind is up! Played in 3.5 hours.
Good all around
No complaints about this course. Great.conditions from tee to green. Putting is a real challenge.
Enjoyed course even through wind and rain
First play since arriving from “up north” so was a bit rusty and the rain and wind made for tough scoring. But the course is pleasing to the eye, challenging with a variety of hole layouts, and beautiful grooming. Course took a lot of rain this day but greens remained playable as did most of the fairways. Look forward to playing it again in more typical FL weather and sunshine.
Wny
Nice over all experience alittle highly priced but good tome
Nice course
This is a pretty nice course, well maintained! Played as a 2 some and only waited a little on back nine. I wanted to buy a shirt there but small pro shop and basically had little to offer.
Great Course
Can’t beat playing here for the great price in Golf Now. Pace was a little slow. Ranger not in sight. Great condition
Great course friendly staff
Challenging fun course with great layout Fast greens, excellent conditions, thoroughly enjoyed our round.
Great place to play
Wonderful polite staff greens are fast and true nice practice area to loosen up
Excellent Value
I really lenjoyed this course.
Good driving range with balls provided
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape. Tricky greens.
The course was challenging enough to keep it interesting and enjoyable.
Pretty setting with lots of water and wildlife.
Too bad there was no place to have some food and a drink after the game.
Windy Day
Played in under 4 hours with my wife and two people we hooked up with. Very windy day , which made it seem like a long day out on the golf course. Very friendly golf staff. Will go back.
Fire Randy
I have been a member at PGA for several years now and recently left because the club has really gone down hill. The head golf professional at PGA National is Randy Raimondi, who takes himself way too seriously. Instead of speaking to members like "members", he talks to you like youre a kid. He cancels tee times without first notifying the member, he doesnt return phone calls, and emails take him over a week to respond. Brookfield Asset Management recently purchased the club and the service coming out of the golf department is terrible. Randy needs to be fired immediately. I know of two other members that left because of the way they were treated from Randy. Im sure Randy doesnt care and he will just sign up new members, but the reputation of the club is spreading quickly. The club culture spreads from the top down and Randy needs to learn how to treat people. I actually think he has a Napoleon complex.

Accessible Private Club
Only way you can play here is to buy a house, or thru GolfNow. Fabulous experience. 5 sets of tees for any skill level. Challenging layout with fast undulating greens. I will definitely book here in the future as long as it’s available.
Quality golf course
Challenging, yet fun golf course. Complete Practice facilities are a nice touch.
