Nice comeback
They have a nice course, after a couple rough years.
Storm damage has been completely been cleared up.
The price is great!
Working Hard Here
Course has a great layout and looks to me like they are working hard to bring it back to life
Some dry areas obviously but generally green were good , fairways decent and tee decks level and good . Would recommend this track at a fair price 3 plus tee decks to meet your personal choice for length .
Plantation crystal River
Working on the clubhouse after the hurricane two years ago, course is in decent shape
The hurricane took its toll on this area, but I think that management istrying to do the right thing for the public
Coming back
They are working hard on bringing this course back for the area. The Greens were in great shape (a couple had some spots along the edge, didn't affect the rest of the Green). Some were as good as any around. Some of the Fairways were in need of grass, but they were NOT unplayable. Some were in pretty good shape. They were fertilizing and you could see the overseeding is starting to come around. The rain this week will have the Fairways and Tee Boxes looking good.
Excellent & beautiful
This course was super cool. Saw two gators, one was HUGE and the other was sunning on the cart path. Crystal clear, spring fed, water can be found on almost every hole and the starters are always in a super good mood and are super friendly.
Fun course
Love the wildlife you see on the course. Greens are one of the nicer rolling greens in the area. Still need some patchy areas on course to fill in. Hopefully get some rain to help it out.
Good but not great
It was good to get back on the Plantation. A good course with plenty of challenges. The greens were good but the fairways had plenty of areas that needed rain and grass. I look forward to the course regaining its former lush growth of grass.
Good value for the money
Overall this was a very good value for the money. Practice balls are included with the greens fees. Course conditions are OK, fairways are struggling with the dry weather and tough winter, but the greens are not bad. Course layout is typical for the area, some water to watch out for, but not too tight.
Great improvements after Mother Nature’s double whammy
The course was in great shape considering it was hit with a devastating tornado followed by a hurricane. Can’t wait for the reconstruction of the clubhouse to be completed. We loved supporting this beloved course. Thank you for all your hospitality!!
Great greens,fairways improving
The greens were in great shape. They were putting manure on the fairways. Clubhouse and restaurant under repair.
It's getting there...
The course is making a comeback after several hurricanes and tornadoes about wiped it out. The clubhouse/restaurant is still not operational. The greens are excellent, for the most part (a couple are a bit rough) and they are working on the fairways. We played with a group of 3, plus a non-playing rider... the cost of $35 + tax for the rider was ridiculously excessive, in my opinion.
Coming back
It was nice to see the course coming back after the Hurricanes.
Excellent Green, rest of the course was terrible
I had heard good things about this course and tried it out. For ~$40 it wasn't awful but the only good thing was the greens. They were in great shape. Otherwise the layout is mostly boring, very little to no grass in the fairways or around the greens. I am happy to see the course reopen after the storm damage but they need more time to grow grass before I would recommend this course. Not a bad place for beginners as its fairly open, with a few tighter holes. Not worth the money or drive time. No working bathrooms, just port o potties.
