Ok course
Not very interesting, a lot of doglegs. Not a bad course
Unfriendly staff
We booked this as a packaged getaway with my wife and child. The hotel and golf course staff were not friendly and kept reminding us we got this "packaged deal" through a 3rd party and consequently they made "no money" off our reservation.
We had to argue with the golf club receptionist and hotel lobby folks to get everything that was supposed to be included in the package.
It was difficult to navigate through the golf course. There were missing signs for some of the holes, and in some paths we felt we were going through the Walt Disney's jungle cruise in a golf cart, instead of a golf course.
The hotel room was in C+ condition: very dated and noisy (for some reason 2 AC Units were placed in our room (maybe the one mounted on the wall wasn't working properly?) so it was very noisy. The room was clean and housekeeping seemed efficient, but the room seemed stuck in the 1980s: there were broken tiles in the bathroom, the room seemed unpkept with maintenance, and it had uncomfortable mattresses and pillows.
The only saving grace to our weekend at Plantation were the manatee tour and the hotel's swimming pool. The tour guides there were very friendly, made spending time near the manatees a wonderful experience for our 6 year old son, and were gracious, welcoming and happy to answer any and all question we threw at them. The hot chocolate and coffee treat after spending time in the cooler spring water were a great treat. The hotel's swimming pool was clean, well kept and fun for families, and there were several kids enjoying it. The staff serving food and drinks by the pool, though, took forever to serve. I would only recommend people book the manatee tour separately.
Old Florida course
The course is old and in need if an update. General conditions were pretty typical of an old heavily used florida public course. Definitely not worth the price charged.
Fair course
Average course, very flat and mostly straight course. Lots of water but not it places you’re worried about it most of the time. Decently well kept, some of the tee boxes are a good bit beat up. I played after several dry days in a row so it was nice but I’ve heard it gets and stays quite wet and cart path only in such case. They are on the verge of charging too much but given the other courses in the area it is the “nice” course.
Great golf
Had an enjoyable afternoon playing a great course.
Good course greens were great.
Some holes are short. Great pace of play for our time frame. It was wide open on the back 9. Nobody in front of us. Lots of water. The 2 courses Intertwined is a little confusing at first but is was easy to navigate after the first hole.
Greens roll well
If it rained the week of you wanting to play, then good luck, i can see once the course drys up it is a nice track and the greens are well maintained. Saw some manatees which was unique
Enjoyed plantation again

In Chicago, Chicago.

Rainy season? Course is legendary. Go play world woods $$$ it’s only golf and nobody is paying me to play at this time in my life. Play wolf !!! Haha Mother Nature plays with the loaded dice. ~Emerson
