Shingle Creek's par-4 12th is one of the new holes, which Thad Layton and team knitted adeptly into the existing course. Big fan of this bunker cluster. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 10/27/2017

AERATED COURSES WAS NOT TOLD DAY OF.
Aerated course day of my booking...Was not told until day of.
Staff is super nice. Women are required to wear golf shirts. Mine did not have a collar but they still allowed me to play. Newbs ;)
Shingle Creek Golf Club
Great course layout. Wonderful staff. Would have given all 5 stars if not for some repairs around the greens and a few tee boxes in rough condition. Great price using Golf Now Hot Deal.
Great course and would recommend whenever you can get a discount on green fees.
Overpriced
Course under repair on 3-4 holes. Not told
until marshal started you.
Awesome Experience
This was my 1st time playing at Shingle Creek and it was memorable! Now I will say upfront that the greens were recently aerated so they were a little bumpy and they let us know that before we decided to play here. But even with the bumpy greens, a great experience. When u drive up, check in was very welcoming, helpful & friendly. Pro shop was impressive, very large and a wide variety of golf items to buy. Now to golf, course was in great condition with as hot it has been. The layout was challenging yet forgiving at times. The carts were fully GPS. A nice feature of the GPS is that it gave you the distance of your drive from the tee box u used, really cool. Fairways like hitting off carpet. Rough was tough yet fair. And as I said b4, greens were aerated, so bumpy but still good. Plenty of hydration for you on the course. It was really cool at the turn to go to a cooler and get a chilled Red Delicious Apple, very Nice Touch. After the round, the attention to cleaning our clubs, getting them to our car and making sure everything was out of the cart was nice. The club house locker room was very nice, not big, but enough lockers, towels provided if you wanted to take a shower and refresh which was very nice. The clubhouse bar/restaurant was big, warm, inviting. Very nice selection of liquid to refresh & replenish you, and a nice selection of food. The food a thought was a bit expensive but was so delicious. The steakhouse burger & fries and a small individual ketchup mini bottle was super cool. The clam chowder surprised me with bit of bacon & ham in it which was a very nice. In closing, the overall experience was at Shingle Creek was just awesome. We did get an incredible price, but even if we paid double what we did pay, it would have been so worth it. My buddies & I are more than happy to drive crazy I-4 highway from Tampa to golf at amazing courses for incredibly great pricing in Orlando when for the same price in Tampa the courses, condition, experience cannot hold a candle to Orlando!!!
Great place with friendly staff
One of a kind place.. I’ve played many places but this now is my new home course
Slow day out there
Flew through the first 6 holes then played the rest in maybe 4 hours? Staff very friendly but just made excuses instead of having any urgency to keep people moving. Called the pro shop to ask for a ranger, ranger acted like he had no idea that things were backed up after another 30 minutes or so. We waiting on every tee and every second shot on the back 9. Course was going through typical summer issues. Greens pretty bumpy after a recent punch but they will be good in another week or 2.
A couple fridge areas that were doing work on throughout.
Staff always great, rest of the course in very good shape for summer. Will come back when it cools off and the greens heel.
Course is busted
Course has not bounced back from the aeration. Greens are in terrible shape, slow and bumpy. Three or four greens had the collars removed and no sod down. I wish I’d know beforehand.
Excellent resort course
Played first time during covid. Hotel was shut down. Golf course was an immaculate condition and open this time. Saw a good price to play again and stay this time. Greens had been recently aerated but putted. Well course not crowded in the afternoon but there was an outing in the morning so I could not get it tee time until after the outing. Not a problem had to take a break after nine holes due to the heat but was able to do the back nine in 2 hours easily Good value for the money. Will be back
BocaBoob
Great course, doing some repair work around several greens disappointing. Recently aerated.
Shingle Creek
The course was in great shape. Challenging course from the white tees.
A Little Disappointing
Some of the course was under repair and seemed to be getting prepared for peak season. There were 2 feet skirts of dirt around the entire green on half the greens on the back 9 where they had totally dug up the grass around them making it impossible to have a good short game. All the greens were dimpled and not rolling true, apparently recovering from a recent aeration. My balls hopped several times while putting today and totally messed up my putting line. The fairways were in good shape. However, it would’ve been nice if there was a course alert when booking my round to notify my these repairs were being made.
Good course for all levels of players
Have played the course earlier and liked the course. Provides a good layout for all level of pl;ayers. Staff is friendly. Was alerted mant times before that the course had been aerated and would not be in the best conditions - so was prepared.
