Shingle Creek's par-4 12th is one of the new holes, which Thad Layton and team knitted adeptly into the existing course. Big fan of this bunker cluster. Photo submitted by TimGavrichGP on 10/27/2017

Nice course
Course was in VG shape from tee to green. Only issue was it was cart path only, but with the summer rains that’s expected. Greens were in great shape.
Always in great shape, was a lot of work being done though
course was in great shape, greens had been punched recently which we didn’t know about but it wasn’t too bad. there was some work being done to some bunkers on a few holes but for a hot deal on a friday morning for 75$ cant complain
Great value
Fun course, has some great challenges but fair.
In fairly good shape, fairways and tee boxes excellent. Greens had been punched rather recently so that was unfortunate but part of good course maintenance.
Staff is always pleasant.
Course for Low Handicappers
Although there are many bery posit8ve things about the whole setup, including the free range balls and excellent practice areas, I only recomment this course to those with a 15 handicap or below.
Not only must one be able to drive at least 160 yards in the air, but you must do this with hreat precision.
Thete are also innumerable sand traps and sandy areas, plus a lot of water on several holes.
Those with even an 18 handicap should expect to lose a dozen golf balls and associated strokes.
But there is a rich feeling on this beautiful course.
Currently, the greens are aerated.
Rough
Rough greens because they were aerated. Didn’t know until I started. Still played because I wanted to see the course.
Punched Greens
This really took away from a nice day got golf. Will return when the greens recover.
Full aerated course. Fun layout.
Course has been fully aerated from the tees, fairways, and the greens. The course layout is awesome with free range balls. Can be pretty challenging with the rough and some lengthy holes. Cart girl was sick with a runny cold which unfortunately got me sick since she was handling the drinks.
Cart path only
Unfortunately the greens had been pinched which meant it was difficult to putt. In fairness aeration alert had been given on golf now. The restriction on cart path only was a bit over cautious as almost all the fairways were bone dry. There was evidence of flooding debris on most of the fairways which could have easily been dealt with without restricting carts on fairways. Sometimes you know you should definitely been on carts paths only, not however in this case. Nevertheless still great course.
Exceptional
The more I play this course, the more I love this course. The course was in perfect condition and we really picked a fine morning to play. Even though the course is a little more expensive than I like to pay for golf, this course truly has truly earned its place in the top public courses in the Orlando area. We picked a perfect time to play, as it sounds like they will start aeration in preparation for the high season.
Great conditions.
Shingle is a staple for sweet Central Florida golf. High quality conditions for a cost that doesn’t break the bank. I love golfing here. Plenty of challenge if you desire it, play the back tees for a long course (7200 is rare for around here)
Beautiful as Always
The course was in fantastic shape well manicured there’s nothing you cannot like about planet shingle creek. It’s fantastic.
