Shingle Creek Golf Club

As a ln out of town golfer browsing golf now it’s hard to know what courses are in what stage of aeration as no one really advertises that. This course was great overall but felt the greens were about 75% of the way back to where they should be normally. Generally a little slow and sandy. Had to play 9 holes cart path only with recent heavy rains. This could change quickly. Loved the layout and staff and course has a lot of character!

We had 7 am time, they open at 7, we waited on 4 slow old guys all day. Cart path only slop, there are better options nearby.

Great location, challenging course full of rolling hills. Best to play with a partner. It was cart path only with is common during rainy season. Received a rain check for 9 holes. Can't wait to go back!

This is a terrific course! The greens were punched 5 days ago but they rolled true. Fairways were in immaculate condition! Will definitely play again. 12/10

I’ve played this course a few times now and it is getting progressively worse. They are close to losing a few tee boxes if they haven’t lost them already. It seems like the course is always aerating the greens. The tee boxes alone will make me stay away for a while. Not to mention the 5 hour round in the middle of the day. Just a slow pace of play and no sign of anyone trying to speed folks up. It’s a shame. The course has a lot of potential.

They'revaerating the greens again. Also wasn't told until checking in, the back 9 is closed until Friday. The practice green is fine. The rest are really not. Tee boxes are probably the worst I've played this year, and I've played some bad ones. They're giving an aeration rate, but honestly for the state of it, and only front 9 open, I was pretty disappointed. Also the Fairways LOOK fine, but they're all thin, sprayed green with sand. The layout is good. But it's one of those situations where the difficulty of the course, plus the conditions being against you, it's just not fun. I don't think I'll be back unless it was fully open, on a hot deal. There's other courses in better condition, for the same or less.

Great course. Thought the rough was way too far up in the fairway. It seemed to come within 10 to 20 yds on a lot of the par 4s. Otherthan that, no complaints. It's a fun course.

Overall a solid course. Had a few slow groups ahead but we still finished in 4:20 mins so not horrible. Nice club house to relax after the round. Will be back.

Great course and value to play over the summer. Greens are healing well from being punched three weeks ago. I do enjoy the challenge of the course and especially the undulating greens throughout the course. Be sure to watch where you-land your tee shot on the 17 green. Must be the largest green on the course and some tough pin locations if you are on the wrong side.

My group arrived to find that our tee time had been changed. That was the ONLY annoyance to a very enjoyable day. The staff handling the golf bags was great - friendly, attentive. The starter was friendly...and hilarious. I wish I could remember his name.

The course was in great shape with the exception of the greens. They needed another 2 weeks to heal from aeration 3 weeks ago. They were still very playable though. Looking forward to the possibility that you may use Dryject to aerate in the future.

We had a great time, but hate the process of fiddling with tee times unless you can notify us on the day prior!
