A great resort facility being brought back to life.

27 wonderful tree lined holes, renovated, restored and rebuilt.

Tee to green a challenge to play but fair.

Good smooth greens grass filled fairways new sand bunkers.

This was my first time playing here since the course re-design. While it could be easy to get lost when a few holes are half a mile apart. The course was in great shape and pace of play was quick.

We did end up eating lunch at the new sports bar on site. The food and service there was nothing to write home about and was not worth what we paid for it.

Fun layout, tight tee shots and a lot of laying up/calculating shots for the next shot. Course was green and in good condition but the greens are a little slower than I would have liked

Course is in great condition! Challenging and fun. Pace of place was perfect. Didn’t have to wait on any tee box. Highly recommend experiencing this course.

These courses used to be amazing and now they’ve reduced it to 27 holes of crap. What a mess! You could not figure out where you were going, they did not tell you at the front desk that there were only nine holes as part of your course and then you had to switch over, the course was in horrible condition, I can’t believe I paid this much for it, and then the top it all off the car girl forgot the credit card machine and asked if we had cash, rather than going back to the clubhouse to get it. Total clown show! I won’t be playing here anytime soon.

Unfortunately I had a family emergency and could not make my tee time.

Great course. Friendly staff.

Valet parking was a mess. Very crowded and confusing. Took about 30 minutes from the time we finished golf and started waiting for the ride to the Valet location until we got the car at the Valet. Very busy at the Valet.

We just wanted to get in the car and leave, but we were just standing around waiting.

There are several holes that are cartpath only. There were multiple areas on the course that had construction and was taped off. For the amount of money that was spent, I should not have seen handwritten signs on which way to go for the next hole. You have to valet, and the valley staff was ridiculously terrible!!

Wanted to get to Saddlebrook Resort for a couple years and finally made it. It definitely didnt disappoint. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating helping me on where the complemtary range is and to the first tee since there are two courses. The starter was possibly the nicest, friendliest man. I was a single and he got me introduced to the other members of the group. The course was the greenest and best conditioned couse I played in the 3 months I was in Florida. Will definitely be back and strongly recommend visiting to anyone that likes a course for most levels of players and have an overall great time..Thank you Saddlebrook

My golfing partner and I went to Saddlebrook in 2025 at a discounted price because they were about to renovate. We had some issues on the course so they gave us rainchecks which we just used. Their regular rate for the day and time we played is $150.

There are some very challenging holes on the Pine and Oak nines and the courses LOOK very nice.

But here's the reality:

These have to be the slowest greens in Pasco county - like putting on velcro.

The GPS driving distances have to be grossly inflated to make golfers feel better - I hit one drive 282 yards according to their GPS and was regularly in the 240-260 range. I'm 71 years old and play a lot of golf - no way do I hit it that far anymore.

There were 4 holes - a par 4 and par 5 on the Pine and 2 par 4s on the Oak nines that were cart path only - all 4 holes were dry as a bone with absolutely NO reason to be cart path only.

We teed off at 10AM - there were 2 twosomes ahead of us and we regularly saw golfers on other holes. Yet there were 3 holes where we had to wait for maintenance - one guy with a blower on a fairway, several people working in a bunker, and, on the 9th hole of the Oak course someone cutting the green - at 1:20 in the afternoon. He was oblivious to us - didn't even look for anyone waiting to hit to the green - just took his time with a hand mower going back and forth cutting the green - ridiculous.

First, the driving range and practice area are really good. Wide and long, with lots of targets. Get there early enough to enjoy.

Played the newly redesigned Pine and Oak, from the tips, 7050 yards. The course layout is dynamic and entertaining, while staying challenging yet fairly forgiving. The par fours are on the shorter side with a few longer ones. Lots of 260 two irons, 245 yard hybrids and three woods, followed by scoring wedges. The 5s and 3s on the other hand are LONG! The fairways were pretty wet. 300+ drives on the 5s left 250+ yard second shots. Every par 3 was 200+, with two of them at 240. Fun all the way around. Now, the bummer. While they appeared super healthy, the greens were dreadfully slow, 7.5-8. The breaks on the greens were nearly irrelevant because you had to walk every putt and hope you hit the back of the hole. If the greens were 9.5 - 11, I'd give the track a 5star. But they weren't. Good job on the redesign. Would love to play again when the fairways are a bit firmer and the greens are much faster.
