Saddlebrook Resort - Oak/Cypress

Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Weather was moderate. It was my first time on the back nine and the course was not as pristine as the front 9, but very playable. I really enjoyed Saddlebrook and highly recommend playing there.

The convenience of the resort stay and daily golf was great! The 3 - 9 hole courses allowed for quick play and the conditions were great. Pine and Oak were slightly better than Cypress, but all 18 combinations were enjoyable to play. I highly recommend the course and resort.

So miss the old Arnold Palmer track. Other than that it was good.

Absolutely loved the Oaks course. It was immaculate. It was nine great holes, pretty difficult but very rewarding and fun. Went early, had no one in front or behind me. They were working the course hard and now you can understand why it’s in such incredible shape. I played the Cypress the back nine and it was very good, but maybe a step below the oaks. Can’t wait to play it again.

Lovely and challenging golf course in excellent condition and good price. The only problem, and it was significant, was pace of play. We were behind two foursomes and a twosome. Front nine went slowly but back nine was horrendous. We had a 10-15 minute wait on every tee box. The group behind us quit after 14 holes. We quit after 15. I estimated that had we finished, it would have been a 5.5 hour round. We saw one Marshall on the third hole who gave us a wave. Never saw another Marshall. Even if busy, a Marshall should have been present to speed things up. What could have been a great round ultimately was disappointing and frustrating.

Best day of golf in my 70+ years. I must have used the wrong gate and couldn't follow directions to course entrance. Workers and staff person helped me navigate to the clubhouse. This made me a few minutes late but I was warmly welcomed at the club house and quickly set up with a cart (with cooler of water) and directed to hole 1. A group was already on hole 1 and about half way, but saw me as a single and came back to offer me to play thru or ride thru. got me off to a great start with no waiting. Course was in great shape and well laid out with spacious fairways. pace of play was very good and every hole a pleasure (BUT CHALLENGING). On course marshal was very helpful. Warmly greeted at return to clubhouse and my valet parking was free. Really GREAT DAY OF GOLF. Thanks

This course is always well maintained. It would have been 5 stars if not for 2 'minor complaints: it seemed like there were maintenence workers on every single hole mowing grass, digging holes, weedeating, etc. And there is a new layout with 3 nine hole courses and Inbetween holes can be confusing.

Excellent all you want to show what it is golf course mean

I don’t ever write reviews but this place made me. I played this course on Memorial Day, and I was recommended by a group I played with at reunion resort in Orlando. I just went to play for the day since I’m only 30 min. To start, the organization of the resort is super unorganized and scattered. Signs aren’t helpful enough to get back to where you need to be and Apple Maps and Waze take you to a different spot in the neighborhood as well. This place is a valet only so you can’t park your own vehicle and at least they accommodated me parking my own vehicle, security at front gate gave me a parking pass. I had an issue with that and took them a while to get to me. After I parked my car I walked all the way up and the valet guys ignored me as I waited for a shuttle back to the course as it was my first time. Pretty far walk but would’ve been quicker. After waiting next to them when they didn’t even want to acknowledge me I was like guys can I get a shuttle and they quickly flagged down someone else to take me. They were a pain and first thing I saw. Super confusing to get to the course and no starter on Memorial Day so super slow and super scattered. I enjoyed the course pretty decent layout and good conditions but everything else ruined my experianxe. The cart guys are super helpful and nice.

First the staff was extremely professional and friendly. The course was in excellent condition love the greens. The complex is very well maintained and relaxing atmosphere. I would encourage anyone to play at Saddle Brook or stay. Just a Fantastic day of golf beautiful.

The redesigned course is very difficult to navigate due to lack of signs showing some og the holes and that the holes intersect for Pine and Oaks courses. And some holes are too long for the par in them. None of the par-3 holes are shorter of 160 yards. The water location is every were where your ball can land. But it is immaculate. Very well maintained. And the people receiving you was very nice. Not to say the same for the starter. We let a two-some to jump us and he came to tell us that we were too slow.

The money spent on upgrading the course was well spent. Definitely breathed new life into the place. Was in great shape for the little amounts of rain we have had. 100% will be back. Well worth the money
