There were a lot damaged areas on many of the greens

Not as reviewed on GolfNow/GolfPass. This may have been a solid course some years ago, but it's dropping in the rankings today.

Much of the pace of play conditions can easily be solved through effective marshalling. This course had great check-in and starter slots, but that where is it ended. Front 9 was a little over 1 1/2 hours and we finished in 5 hours.

The resort appears tired and in need of an update. A chicken sandwich for $15 and beers at $10/each would lead me to a starvation diet. You want to patronize a course in their concession area, but certainly not subsidize the entire operation.

Tee boxes were good and fairways decent, but greens were long, shaggy and extremely slow. There were also many dead spots on most greens and attempted patching with sod.

On vacations I tend to stock up on pro shop attire, but not here. The pro shop was virtually empty and must be remodelling. I left without the opportunity to purchase anything.

Not a repeater. Player beware.

Greens were in good shape, not too fast, but true. Tees and fairways were also in good shape. Although very nice day (70s) very few players o the Palmer course.

Valet parking is back at no charge for golf. No self parking.

I really enjoy Saddlebrook, I’ve played the Palmer course a few times and I absolutely love it. The greens on the Saddlebrook course made it feel like $10 golf instead of $100 dollar golf. They were so over seeded that we were slamming putts to get them to move more than ten feet. I love the course and layout, but honestly should have been better cut. I know they are super professional out there and would have loved to see a little better care taken to ensure the greens were in better shape.

Parking / forced valet is a pain. Other than that, the course can be wet, but this time of year, it's perfect. A joy to play.

I can not say enough good things about the counter staff and the guys out front checking us in. I surely wish they had a course marshall to reel in the drunks who were playing or should I say drinking in front of us who held up the entire course. We made the turn at less than two hours and wound up behind a group of guys who spent their time drinking and laughing and not playing golf. They backed up the entire rest of the golf course…..

Best Florida course ever.Challenging , yet playable even with overseeding

Made a trip over to Tampa to play this course. Golf now didn’t mention the overseeding. Just mentioned 90 degree rule which turned into CPO.

Not the end of the world. Fairways were great and the layout was really fun. Greens were in pretty awful shape due to overseeding. For this time of year the price was great and the course was empty….now I understand why but it was still enjoyable and I would come back and play again.

I’ve always enjoyed the layout. Unfortunately course is still stuck in 1986 and desperately needs more attention. Great value and great pace of play. Greens in good shape but slow. Bare spots throughout tee boxes, fairways and green side. Carts have no modern features so don’t expect glamour anywhere.

The course had been aerated so the fairways were not up to the usual standards

This course is pristine!! The check in process is a bit odd with valeting but it is so nice and staff is a 12/10!!!

The course was in great shape and the pace of play was excellent. I introduced the course to a buddy and he loves it.

2 great courses to choose from..we played the Palmer amazing challenge in fact on the day too much of a challenge and it beat me up a bit......so enjoyable

It’s a nice course,But at the premium they’re charging to be competitive with other local high end golf courses isn’t justified. Saddle Brooke needs some updating. Note , if you decide to stop at the range Which is located by the entrance, before checking in, they will try to charge you an extra five dollars dock even though it range balls were included. Over all I would go back but nothing special to see here

Palmer course was in great shape. Stay in play and in short stuff. Greens ran nice. Saddlebrook course greens are f Ed. Wish this place was busier. Overall, great round.
