I dove in the waters surrounding the 17th green. Gordon Davis, who's been the diver there for 20 years, was my guide. No gators, just golf balls. A lot of golf balls. Photo submitted by MattGinellaGA on 05/02/2014

DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE AT THIS TIME
It's absolutely ridiculous that they would charge anyone $200 to play this course right now. They greens are in HORRIBLE SHAPE!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, unless you just have it to waste.
I paid $64 to play and it wasn't even worth the money! I am a member of St. Johns Golf and Country club and the greens are in mint condition. NO EXCUSE for the Valley course to be in the shape its in. POOR showing with the TPC just being in town.
TPC Dye Valley
Great design a challenge; the only negative is the condition of the greens.
TPC VALLEY
Do not waste your money on the Valley!!! Greens are terrible!!! You expect the experience to be a great one and it failed. Play Jax Beach instead and save a ton of money.
Dye's Valley - Very disappointing
They can't tear these greens up soon enough!! The greens are atrocious. Mixed grasses and an irregular surface renders them almost unplayable. Do not pay full price to play here.
This has no resemblance to the beautiful course that I played after the Winn-Dixie last year, Were it not for the great forecaddie (Shane) and the other staff this would have been rated lower.
Great day of golf on an awsome course with great staff.
This was a great day and a great day of golf. The greens were long and slow but Im sure they are that way as the stadium course is closed and they will get heavy traffic with TPC coming up in a couple of weeks. The course is worth every penny of $60.
PETE DYE VALLY Couse should be closed for PLAY
Few friends had golf trip to floriday.. Played the TPC Dye Valley couse.. the club house and pratice rage is great... But the Valley couse had soooo much Construction. with All muddy cart pad... The Greens were BAD SHAPE the green were soo bad had weeds growing in few spots... Very BAD SHAPE SHOLD BE CLOSED FOR PLAY>>>> not even worth the $20 for this course.. but PETE DYE Valley Couse is the name people come toplay but the couse they get is the goat ranch...
TPC Sawgrass Pete Dye Valley Course...COURSE WAS SOOO BAD SHAPE SHOULD BEEN CLOSED FOR PLAY..
of TPC Sawgrass as host to THE PLAYERS ]
Few friends took a golf trip to Florida and thought of playing of TPC Sawgrass Pete Dye Valley Course... it's next to the to THE PLAYERS .. Got to use the same club house as the Players Course.. After few mintues of clubhouse visit, we went to the Range to pratice.... Again still Exicted to play the PETE DYE VALLEY Course... we got to 1st hold the starter asked us to start on 10th hole... as we were driving to 10th tee box... major dirt road though the cours the cart really dirty.. After playing our first hold wanted to go back and get out money and leave.. The COURSE WAS SOOO BAD SHAPE SHOULD BEEN CLOSED FOR PLAY.. the GREEN WERE SUCH BAD Shape with weeds growing on the green.... WAIST OF MONEY in the name of PETE DYE...
One of the best!
Great course and we only played with 2 people in our group with no forecaddie which was their choice. Slow pace but we finished in just over 4 hrs. I would recommend this course but I get more excited to play the stadium course..
Greens were in terrible condition and had many roped off sections
Very disappointed in the fact that we got the wrong course due to incorrect links on the website. The course was beautiful and challenging, however the greens were in terrible condition. They had several roped off areas where they were under repair.
Great Course!
The Dye's Valley course is a world class golf course. The practice facility is awesome. We saw Vijay practicing there!
The course is very difficult....lots of water that can come into play. A challenge for a very good player...might be too tough for beginners.
Great staff, facility and amenities, but not a relaxing place to play.
I have played both courses several times, but have very mixed feelings about this place. The staff and customer service ethic here are a model of what upscale courses should provide. Superb proshop and clubhouse amenties, the practice area is second to none. However, the Valley course is set amongst houses and all of the commotion that provides - noisy landscapers, remodelling contractors etc. The course's own construction and maintenance activities were an even worse distraction. Greens were in decent condition but painted, and fairways were beat up, perhaps to be expected in March when the grass is dormant. Play it once to say you did it, but for a more pleasant round of golf, go to WGV.
Despite cloudy weather , we enjoy with Dye Valley
Great tendency to kick inside all water hazards ( fairways are not flat and lot of possibilities to finish into the water ) Very quiet course . TPC sawgrass country hall is magic
A great staff made for a great day
Everyone from the guys at the bag drop to the girls on the carts worked very hard to make sure everyone was having a great time while we were there.None worked harder than our caddy Brian who worked hard to make sure we all had every advantage while challenging a great course
Mickey from Savannah
It's winter in Florida too
The greens are like putting on Windsor Park greens right now. They need some help. Not worth full price to play, unless you have never played here. Then you will be in for a treat on mater what the greens are like.
Dye's Valley Course
I played the Dye's valley course and it was a great day and my foursome was great company. I usually play as a single and never have a issue making a tee time to suite my schedual thanks to the you guys at Golf Now I can play and meet new friends anywhere I play. The greens were alittle marked up! Sincerly
Mike,IVZ25
The pace of play was very slow, no marshalls to be seen to speed up play. 5+ hours.
The course will fair, in good shape and fun to play. The pace of play was slow which makes keeping rythm difficult. But still enjoyable.
Great course, poor condition
The practice chipping green for the stadium course was terrific, the greens on the valley course were an embarassment. I've played $35 courses with greens as good or better. The staff was arrogant and unhelpful as always. I could play two more times for free and not get my moneys worth.
great experience for weekend golfer
course is very well kept,.plenty of courteous staff
dream come true playing this course
course was super clean and greens were much smaller than they look on TV great respect for how good those pros are after playing this course
Awesome
Just a few words; simply awesome. Great staff. Hope you get the caddie named Chase, cool kid.
