I dove in the waters surrounding the 17th green. Gordon Davis, who's been the diver there for 20 years, was my guide. No gators, just golf balls. A lot of golf balls. Photo submitted by MattGinellaGA on 05/02/2014

Excellent course
Great course for all levels of play. Course was in excellent shape.
What a track
With #17 on stadium course under construction we chose to play Valley and man am I thankful for the hole closure. This is an absolute gem and normally $320 less in greens fees.
Greens were glass ahead of the Korn Ferry Tour which lead to us just having so much "fun" cause that's how Pete Dye would've wanted it played.
Will be back for sure .
Worth it. Period.
This was an expensive round of golf and a last minute decision, $500 for the round and an additional $50-$200 a bag for the caddie (what you pay the caddy in gratuity is your choice, I caddied for 15 years an in my last 5 years was getting $150-200 a bag when carrying $50 a bag when fore caddying). For the price I paid I felt it was worth it.
If you are a golf junkie, like me, this course is a must! The course was in perfect condition, and had that 'Augusta National' look and feel. Our caddie was the man, and had a great time chatting with him and sharing golf stories.
I have read reviews that say the price is not justified. Yes, it is expensive and hurts when you pay the bill, but this blows Ferry Point and Whistling Straights outta the water, which were 300-400 dollar rounds.
Pull the trigger and play if you get the opportunity!!
Not worth the cost
The conditions of this course were absolutely horrible. The 7th and 8th greens are on the verge of being lost, the grass surrounding the greens is in very bad shape. The course has a fantastic layout but for the money we spent to play we expected much better course conditions.
First time golfers!
I joined three other women on a trip to TPC Sawgrass. We enjoyed brunch, 18 holes of golf and dinner. Everything was exceptional! All of the staff were friendly and helpful! Our food was excellent!
About the golf... we were a little nervous because we had never played but it was the greatest experience!!!! We were paired with four amazing caddies, Mark, Don, Ryan and DeVie. They were extremely patient and a lot of fun!!
I definitely recommend this course to anyone, beginner or pro!
This course is BEAUTIFUL and I enjoyed every minute of my experience!!!
Thank You TPC SAWGRASS!!!

TPC Sawgrass Dye Valley
My first trip to Florida. My first major course. The staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. I would recommend this course to anyone. Tremendous layout beautiful fairways well maintained.
Great course!
Staff was extremely attentive! To your needs!
My son and I had a blast!
Course was Perfect!
We couldn’t play the stadium course due to renovations however, we had a blast playing Dyes Valley. Excellent course. Staff was very polite and very helpful. Will be back year after year to play it again.
The Valley
If you get the chance to play here your pretty lucky.. obviously first rate all the way... the greens were fast but fair and hole after hole you’ll love the layout
Phenomenal Course - A Must Play!
Spectacular Course and fantastic staff! Course was in excellent shape; greens were a tad fast, but what a great experience.
A good test of golf
This was pretty much everything I expected it to be - a tough but fair test of golf. The course was beautiful and requires plenty of precise shots. I would love to play it again soon.
Disappointing Experience
In FL for quick vacation. Booked as a single thru TPC site ($260). Checked in an hour ahead of time and went to the range.
When I got to the starter, he explained that 2 of the others in my foursome had cancelled and he just let the other single join the threesome ahead. They were just teeing off. My only recourse was to play as a single or wait for an undetermined time to see if any groups coming behind would be short 1.
So I played as a single on a crowded course for 14 holes then called it a day.
I had played the Ritz Carlton Club ($160) the day before in Orlando and was treated like a member.
Worst service I have experienced to date on a golf course.
First stop of a long weekend...
Wanted to take a long weekend trip to Jacksonville area, then Savannah and then Hilton Head. Stopped first to play the Stadium. I'd played it back in the early 80's after it first opened and certainly a lot had changed. The most recent changes are by far the best. What an amazing course...although not near as difficult as it once was. Perfect conditions, perfect staff...and the practice areas are phenomenal.
