FANTASTIC!

I have played this course many times in the past, but this was absolutely the best condition I have ever seen it in! The greens were perfect, fairways and tea boxes were great! Met in the parking lot by an exceptionally friendly gentleman to help me with my clubs, starter was very personable!

Everything from start to end was an A+ experience!

Great Layout

Bay Point is a challenging course complete with well placed obstacles and hazards. Staff was very helpful, offering tips and information to make navigation and play enjoyable. Minor damage on a couple of greens. Other than that the course was in beautiful shape. New cups were cut each day we played. One more shout out for the staff. They were awesome!

What Nicklaus designed this place?

This course is a decent municipal level course , but Nicklaus would b embarrassed to have his name associated w/ this place .

Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in average shape , with the green rolling very roughly; akin to putting on a bumpy indoor /outdoor green carpet.

Signage was minimal and the route from 3 green to 4 tee was very poorly marked .The Oregon Trail was shorter!

I was guessing all day on yardage despite having my range finder .

Pace of play was great . I was a single in a cart and was able to play multiple shots around the green and still finish in 3 hours . There were very few memorable holes ; 0 in fact .

The 1 bright spot was the staff. They were friendly and very helpful. The range and putting green were adequate .

I would not play the course again . $100 for a $45 value

Nice track. Showing some wear

Played here a few times and will play again. Course in decent condition but the greens were showing bare patches here and there.

Pace was a challenge with a set of four-somes in front of our two-some. That said, 2 of the four-domes let us play thru … so total time was respectable at just on 4 hours.

Nice layout with some challenging holes and some easier ….

Course is still recovering 3 years post hurricane

When we decided to play the course, my expectations were high. The green fees are not inexpensive and the value of the course should follow. The "clubhouse" is cobbled together at this point. Construction is happening currently. The "Marshalls were borderline rude, maybe just having a bad day. The greens, especially the back nine, were either recently treated with thousands of pounds of pebbly fertilizer, or there is a major problem. Disappointing this time out.

great course. Greens in good shape. Overnight rain meant we walked a lot on several holes.

Early morning tee time

The round started slow, but after three holes, the pace was up to us, with no one in front of us or behind us. The greens were sandy. In the past we would have received a discounted rate for the sandy greens, that did not happen this time. Range is closed early on Thursday for maintenance. Still a great vacation course with plenty of views and challenges. Staff is very helpful. Today was the first day of brand new golf carts.

Greens

Your greens should not have a Jack Nicholas name attached to them. We’ve been coming and playing this place for more than ten years. We were so disappointed by the condition of the greens. Obviously the new owners know nothing about golf courses. Too bad.

Great golf course

We really enjoyed playing golf at Bay Hill Golf Course, even though some of the holes were closed because of several days of heavy rain!

Surprises all around

When we got to the course was greeted by a nice man who brought our cart to the parking lot and directed us to the clubhouse. Inside the staff informed us that four holes are closed but the rate is still the same. So we played 14 holes for the price of 18. Pretty expensive compared to quality of courses I’ve played. I won’t pay $120 to play all 18 if they ever open the other four. Too many dead spot on greens.

This course was very wet from recent rain and only one fairway open to carts. Four sets of tees for all levels of play. Challenge with both tight fairways in some holes and length

We were directed to the sixth hole for our opening hole. Played fairly quickly until reaching groups ahead. One allowed us through but others didn’t acknowledge we were faster. Bring your A game. You’ll need to be in good spots to score with current conditions.
