Underwhelming to say the least
Overall the conditions were extremely average and more resembled a $40 course. The layout was cool, but the clubhouse is old and the attendant was not friendly. Divots and sand were everywhere and almost all the holes were punched improperly. I will not be back.
Overall Nice Course
The staff is friendly and helpful! Had a good lunch at the 19th hole. Pro shop had a nice selection of men’s and women’s attire. Received a small complimentary bag of range balls. Driving range didn’t have grass to hit off but you could use woods and drivers. The Marshall wasn’t present to monitor tee times, which I believed cause major delays on the course. The course was in good shape and there were several challenging holes. The greens were smooth but slow. I did enjoy view of the bay. The cart girl came by numerous times, which was nice since we didn’t pass the club house at the turn. The group ahead of us wouldn’t let us play through, so after 4 hours to reach the 12th hole I quit. Due to the slow play I’m not sure I would play it again this time of the year. Otherwise, it is a nice course.
Waited out the rain
Great deal on the green fee, $80 off the current regular rate. Green fees in PCB have gotten crazy with inflation and after losing three courses from Hurricane Michael. I don’t think I would pay regular rate to play. That said, people do.
Course was in good shape, just wet from rain storm. We waited out the storm and had the course to ourselves. Completed round in 3 1/2 hours. Drained and dried well. By the fifth hole, I don’t recall seeing and causal water.
All of the staff were friendly and accommodating.
Only knock was no warm up. I thought range balls were included, but there were no balls on the range. That may have been due to the rain though. We didn’t go back to ask, just started cold.
I would definitely play again with the reduced rate, otherwise I’ll let the visitors enjoy it.
Staff sucks
I reserved a 12:06 tee time which was supposed to be 89$ plus tax advertised on their website. We get there and check in and the dude charges us 119$ plus tax and i said it was supposed to be 89$ according to their website and he tells me that was the online price. There is nothing on their website that says that otherwise i would have booked online. That is bait and switch and unlawful. It poured rain through the first 6 holes which were some of the best on the course but after that it wss pretty sunny. The course seemed nice but a 60$ course not a 119$ course. I wont go back because of the pro shop staff. The rest of the staff in the club house lile at the restaurant were great. Way overpriced.
Over priced
Even at the Golf Now price of 80.00, I feel this course is not worth the money. Especially if i had to pay the normal rate of 140.00. Several of the tee boxes were infested with crab grass I know it is a supply and demand issue with Panama City's lack of playable courses.
Good views
This course is definitely a must visit for the area. Everyone should go once but due to the extremely high price will most likely not go back. The front 9 views are top tier but the back 9 is no different than most other public courses.
Solid course maintained
We play Baypoint every time we come down. It’s just such a pleasure to get out of fairways that are maintained as well on a course with this much traffic. The staff is friendly Especially the young men that were the cart boys. They were so polite and kind.
The greens were in really good condition. Only complaint that I had on holes Is the fact that golfers need to learn that they are the stewards of the course and fix their marks. 18 is the only green I will say some needs work,
Fix your divot marks in the fairway and on the green people
Bay Point is always a must while in PCB
Greens were a little slow but course was in good shape. Always enjoy Bay Point
Bay Point review
Course was in great shape and played well. Very challenging and need to be able to place your shots. Found out from a fellow player on the last hole that the course has an app to use for yardage. The staff never mentioned this and would’ve been extremely helpful as the on course markers are hard to locate while playing. I would play this course again. The price is comparable with other courses, but is still a little pricey in my opinion, but overall a good experience.

One of my absolute favorite courses when I’m in the Panama City Beach area. It’s Florida, so water and sand on every hole. Great place to play regardless of your skill level. Four tee boxes to chose from for your level and fun.
Bay point golf course
First time playing golf at bay point, very challenging course, especially from the 3 tee boxes. We have played alot of the courses in the area, this one is very nice.
I think its a great value after 2pm, 8am tee time, not so much.
Pathetic
No marshal on the course even though one is paying premium prices. 5some with 3 of the group kids under 12. only 2 bags. I'm sure they did not pay the $100 for each person. Also, the foursome in behind the fivesome were hitting more than one ball at a time. One of the players in the foursome was barefooted and wearing t-shirt. I thought there was golf attire required. Started at 4pm and did not get to finish my round. It didn't get dark until 8:15. I will not go back!
