Nice layout! Tees need work and greens need cutting!
They must cut the greens too long and the tees are in dire need of better grass! The solution to all the issues are Paspalum and more MONEY!
Nice Course
Nice Course, Not too long from the white tees, More demanding from back tees
don shula golf club
I kind of expected more from a golf club that put Don Shula's name on it........the tee boxes need work/replacement......they definitely need to be cut. Overall, the course was in good condition-the greens were in very good condition.....but tee boxes were shaggy and long and the bermuda grass is garbage/
Course Condition
Decent course and not a bad lay out. Offers difficulty with water and narrow tree-lines. Greens were ridiculously slow. Free range balls at what looks like an abandoned parking lot. Back 9 looks like the course hasn't been tended to in a while.
Good challenge of golf
The starter was the friendliest most accomodating starter I have ever met. I showed up as a single and he did his utmost to present me with options to get me going.
The greens were in bad shape
The greens had enough sand on them to qualify as a beach.
Nice
Great course. Well maintained. Good variety of holes.
poor shape - no markers
Was very disappointed with the conditions. Fairway grass too tall, rough was unnecessarily penal. Balls just off the fairway were lost. However, I did find about a dozen other lost balls while looking for mine. Appears I wasn't the only one having trouble. Also, no yardadge markers, except for the occasional sprinkler head. Had to mostly guess. Needed a golf app on my phone. Really expected a nicer course, given the name and price. Staff pretty much non-existant except for girl that checked us in and guy that put us in a cart. Won't be back.
Great all around golf experience.
Love treating myself to a round of golf at Shula's every once in awhile. A little pricey to play all the time for the average golfer. Once in awhile treat it's worth it. Great staff, course is beautiful and challenging. Great place to plan a vacation or staycation to.
My favorite holes # 2 and # 7 don't quote me on that since they change front nine to back.. One is a par 4 from a really nice elevated tee box the other a challenenging par 5 dog leg right over the water to the green..
An Oasis in a concrete jungle
this course features long fairways that are lined with trees and water. Many challenging holes, and a great location off the 826.
Good Choice in Miami
Well maintained course. Moderate difficulty if you play from the right set of tees. Some water comes into play but can generally be played around. The rough was high enough to hide your ball from plain view. Fairways in pretty good shape. Some tees and greens were heat-stressed.
Fair condition for the price
The course was in fair condition, I have played this course last year and it was in a lot better shape then. For the price it is not worht it.
Exceptional greens
Greens in great shape. Would highly recommend this course. Have told several friends about it already.
