Dunes Golf
Great little course find on vacation. Not a long course even from the back tees but challenging for all. Great staff….Judy was always helpful both times I played
Short, sporty
Warren is the friendliest starter we've met in SWFL. Very knowledgeable able the course. We played 18 on a Sunday morning in under 3 hours! A foursome was kind enough to let us play through on 14.
Water? what water?
Dunes was a great outing! Water hazards on most holes if you have a controlled shot no problem, there were some risk reward shots but not worth the splash! Friendly staff and good selection of treats as well as libations. Will definitely play this one again!
Play Here.
So enjoyed this little gem in Sanibel. Food at turn was quality and the staff were happy to be there. Great job. Will be back.
Nice course
Not many people playing golf the day I played so pace of play wasn’t an issue. Course isn’t long however there is plenty of water in play and punishing bermuda rough. Greens are small but roll well. I enjoyed the course. Staff was friendly and helpful
Great Course and Amenities
Course was in great condition and staff was very helpful even saw a couple small alligators. Most of all shot my best score in years.
Dunes Golf Course
Loved the course.
Fairways are green and in good shape..
Greens in great shape, and can be challenging with slopes.
The rough is thick Bermuda grass. It is best to keep it in the fairway.
Lots of birds and wildlife.
I will be back.
Water Challenge
This is a challenging water hazard/ sand trap placement course. Not the longest yardage, but more than makes up in difficulty. Great time!! A bit of a rush on early tee times. Need to pair up more 4-somes
Watch out for gators-lol!!
Nice Round
Fairly short course but also fairly tight so hitting shots to specific placements makes it very challenging. Lots of water to contend with but very satisfied with the course overall.
Beautiful course for a great value
This course is beautiful and provides a bit of a challenge with water on every hole on an already narrow course. The electric golf carts are new with GPS and speakers on them and the course as a whole is very well kept. If playing this course be careful of the blackbirds as they will steal anything left in the open (someone we went with said he’s seen them steal watches and keys laying around before). I can attest to them taking items as my buddy opened a brand new pack of Pro-V1 balls on hole 13 and hit one onto the fairway where we proceeded to watch a bird pick it up with its mouth and fly off in the trees with it.
Not a long golf course but definitely challenging!
Bring some extra golf balls if you don’t hit it straight!
Fantastic fairways and greens!
Great time and golf
This is a course I make sure I play when I come down here. Everyone that works there is friendly and the course is a lot of fun. With challenges for all levels. Would recommend this course. Oh one more thing,Visit the clubhouse area for food and drinks.
Scenic and fun course
Our family played this beautiful course while on vacation. Enjoyed the scenic water views and wildlife, and the course was fun yet somewhat challenging for our skill levels (family members ranged from scores of mid-80s to higher 90's). The bag handlers were nice/helpful while hurrying people along. However, the bar staff was very rude -- and slow. A simple lunch sandwich took a very long time, and I'm certain I noticed the person waiting on us roll her eyes when we asked about a lunch menu. After golf, we decided to have drinks on the patio and experienced the same rudeness at the bar. In summary, loved the course (but not the bar) and the location was great for our planned day/evening on lovely Sanibel Island, where we also hit other popular island spots.
Just ok
Course is nice, and in good shape. Staff around was just OK. Paying $90 to play 5500 from the tips is not worth it
