The Dunes Golf Course
Very playable course especially if you have played it once. Our first visit here and we were matched up with another couple who were very friendly. An enjoyable round with friendly staff.
Fun
Very challenging course. Definitely have to pay smart
Short couse with alot of water
The condition of the course was sub standard. Ivy the beverage cart woman was a highlight of our round
Conditions could have been better
Course was very challenging with a lot of water every hole had water conditions weren’t as good as I like to have seen it’s a lot shorter than I’d like south was great though
Lose balls
Too much water. Holes where you must shoot over water twice or take short shot to get into position for the next shot. Tee markers were mostly flat on ground and hard to see, we backed up a couple times. Lost numerous balls but usually only lose one ir two balls on other courses. They are proud of the number of balls you will lose. They even told us to make sure we had plenty of balls. The course is pretty and greens were in good shape. Pace of play was good and all personel were nice.
The course is in terrible shape
Many fairways, greens and tee boxes need serious attention. It’s not worth the $78 per person we paid. We wouldn’t go back. There are too man other nice golf courses around. The people in the pro shop were very nice.
Great course
Great course. Favorite in SW Florida. At this date the 9 & 18 green needs some TLC but overall great course
Very Good Experience
Played on a Wednesday during post-Christmas vacation week. Course was very busy, but pace of play was very good. Staff did a great job monitoring the groups. Pro Shop, beverage, and outside service staff were friendly and professional. There was no beverage cart service though, not a huge factor. Course was kept up pretty well and wildlife was abundant.
Fair track
Course was in fairly good shape. A few greens were rough with sand all over them. Pace of play was great. 3 hour round for a twosome.
