Most Enjoyable
We had a wonderful day at this well maintained course. Our tee time was early afternoon, but, the temperatures and lovely breezes made the round just great at a doable 75F or so. The course is in fine shape with actual green grass on the fairways (it has been dry in the area and many courses have a lot of dry, sandy spots...not so here). The greens were winter patchy colors that ran true and fast. Bunkers were groomed, but, not super difficult for good bunker players. Water comes into play on several holes, so, beware lost balls as small alligators were watching. The surrounding community has many lovely RV Houses that are nicely kept. The staff was just great with easy manners and upbeat responses and very helpful. The clubhouse is well stocked. Would recommend.

The Great Outdoors has a very unique layout around a very unique RV community. One of my favorite courses to play in Brevard. Always worth the $

Not happy this time
Have played this course several times and really enjoyed it. However, this last time the pace of play was miserable. Finally after 4+ hours and 4 holes left to go, we just quit. Too many groups of 5 ahead of us and one group had someone walking. Seems they were letting players out about every 6 minutes.. Sooooo disappointed, because I really liked this course in the past.

Great course! Great staff!
We had a great time playing this course. I would definitely come back. Course was in great shape and staff were incredibly nice. We were able to meet “The Mayor” on the 10th hole (12 foot Gator) along with many of his friends on other holes. Definitely don’t want to have your back to the water bank for too long. Tim, the starter, was a great dude and very helpful with things. Just overall a great round of golf!
Great game playing with a couple from Ontario Canada
Friendly pro shop, and starter, the course is really good, a little bit slow having foursome ladies in front of us but overall it was wonderful day and a great game

wait until snow birds have gone home
This is a nice course and quite challenging with plenty of water to carry not a beginner's round. This time of year the locals play a lot and really slowly...took 4 1/2 hours and we did not start until 1pm'

Way overbooked, pace of play was terrible
Ok. I play this course regularly and today was very bad.. This is not exaggerating, it took 3 hours and 2 minutes to play the front nine. Absolutely booked and the group in front of us was playing 5-somes. Called the clubhouse to ask for.a ranger to check on the this issue, never saw one. Called the Clubhouse again and kept saying it was busy but not really trying to resolve anything. It took almost 5hours to play 15 holes. I ended up quiting because I ran out of time. Probably will wait until the Snowbirds to back home. It's a shame too because I like the course and the GM.and cart guys. However the clubhouse ladies are nice but terrible at resolving booking or pace of play issues.

The course is in good shape, a little dry but to be expected. Lots of gators visible, keep you aware. Good challenge the greens are fast, fairways good.
