Biggest “wild” gator I’ve ever seen. Yes that’s my buddy’s ball close to his head and no he didn’t go get it! Photo submitted by volsfan32119 on 01/12/2025

Nice course, great staff
Staff was friendly and very patient. Course was in good condition with nice smooth greens. Fairways were well taken care of. And I really enjoyed the floating greens on the driving range. The wildlife there is always a plus. Big gators, herons, and other birds were on the course. Lunch at the turn was great too.
Nice Course, Friendly Staff
Course in good shape. Fairways and greens excellent. Greens held shots beautifully good players could go pin hunting. Rough was cut short and I believe it was Bermuda. What was nice was ball sat on top didn’t disappear.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating as I just barely made tee time. The young lady taking care of carts was very friendly asking about our round and experience.
Nice course and staff will return.
Wrinkle Ranch
Golf course is mint. Neighbors are nasty. It’s not my fault your old
Bring extra balls
Great course overall. It had just rained hard the night before, and course conditions were still pretry good. The drive to the clubhouse after 9 took 15 minutes, so that part of the layout is pretty poor.
Fairly tight course for a beginner with a lot of water and woods.
First time playing, it is a very nice track, has it’s challenges but fair and the scenery and staff was a pleasure. Will definitely go back
WILDLIFE GALORE
Hole #1 HUGE gator on right side rough near a pond. Hole #2 another BIG gator on the right side rough near a pond. Forget hawking for balls but don't miss red shoulder hawks swooping down to check out your ball.
FORGET LOOKING FOR WATER BALLS
Played this course before. It was in very good condition despite recent storm damage. Greens were excellent and fairways very good. Some storm damage was still evident but did not hinder play. Staff was nice and starter Ed very professional. Huge gators sunning themselves on #1 pond shore and #2 pond shore. Forget looking for water balls.
Slowwwww play
No control on who and how they are playing, had 2s 3s walkers and tournament players in front. Took 5 1/2 hours for a round
Great afternoon of golf at the Great Outdoors
I really enjoy this course. The staff are happy and friendly. The course is well maintained. It is challanging
at times. If you play your limitations, by not trying to go for it to hard, you can really enjoy the course.
The restaurant is also excellent.
We enjoyed our game perfect weather
I brought my family from Seattle to play golf, he had a good time , he said the course is well maintained , the wildlife is amazing he saw 3 gators on that day. He will tell his friends his experienced
Course Conditions Were Surprisingly Good
Even after a moderate amount of rain a day earlier, and playing the day before Thanksgiving, the course, as always, was in great shape. Their greens are always exceptional.
Slow golf
The course is great, the starter said I was late, my tee time was 11:32 was at the starter at 11:32 and 30 seconds said my assigned group had already left and were on first fairway, not true that twosome had a 11:52 tee time they were send out early because they are residents had a threesome, twosome and then 2 walkers in front, plus a few stragglers from a local tournament.
Took 5 hours to play
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting The Great Outdoors Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
