The Henderson, a Salamander Resort

We played 3 Destin courses in the last 10 days and Regatta Bay was our favorite. The course was beautiful and the staff very friendly. We’ll be back!

Nice course in gated community. Great conditions. Greens rolling great. Various tees for all levels of golfers. Definitely recommend. Will return on next visit.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The course conditions and greens were as good as I’ve ever played. We will definitely be coming back.

The entire course was in great condition. The greens were large, fast and smooth. Thoroughly enjoyed the round. I would highly recommend it.

We had not been here in 3 years! It was every bit as good as we remembered! We played with one of your members…Bennett Stein. What a gentleman and skilled golfer! I’m sure we slowed him down, but he was as gracious as could be! We’ll definitely be back!

My 16-year-old son and I would have had a great time if it were not for the following:

- had a single male golfer on our butt after the first hole waiting impatiently to go around us because he only had three holes to finish. Delay #1

- had a pair of older gentlemen, who were walking very slow to and from the cart to their balls. They were hitting multiple balls on every hole which of course slowed us down big time for about six holes on the front 9. Delay #2

- another single player was also hitting 4 to 5 golf balls per shot in front of us for about three holes. Delay #3

- after the first three holes in the back nine, we came up against a major slowdown in which we bypassed everyone in front of us. This was because of a group of five that was teeing off on hole 18. They backed everyone up all the way back to us.Delay #4….

I felt there needed to be a park ranger moving people along and preventing those who were hitting multiple golf balls from the fairway and on the green and taking their own sweet slow time. It cost us four holes in the end.

Poor management of those on the course who could have cared less for anyone else on the course.

Excellent course, conditions of the course was perfect and the staff was super friendly and very professional. 5 stars for this course. Will definitely be back next year!

Some of my old college friends and I (we’re all in our 70s) take a mancation almost every year to Destin. We always play Regatta and Kelly Plantation. We are rarely disappointed with the course conditions and available tee times. But I sure wish they hadn’t redesigned the 17th to accommodate the new hotel. Just not the same.

We wish that the Marshall had sped people up. Rounds take four hours and 15 minutes or more. That is just too long and people don’t let you play through
