Now, I remembered why I haven't play there in a while

It's a nice course. It's a shame you have to wait 5 plus minutes to tee off between holes. The course is fun but just not run properly with tee times and pace of play.

We had 4 stacks begin us waiting and 2 groups quit at nine. We should have. Blows your game up.

Okay

Greens shaggy and slow. Lots of work going on. Greens keepers frequently got in the way of play slowing us down. There are better courses to play over here.

Beautiful Course-Well Maintained

Very nice layout. Definitely some challenges. If you are not on the fairway off the tee, you are in trouble. The roughs are a thin bladed grass. Your ball will sink, and I mean sink to the ground. There'll be an inch to an inch and a half of grass above the top of your ball. The greens were in good condition. A little slow in my opinion. But my personal preference is very fast. This was a fun course to play, especially the water holes. A couple very deep green side bunkers you really want to avoid. Overall, condition very good. Staff, excellent. Some of the most friendly, outgoing people I've ever met. I highly recommend.

First Destin golf experience

Very friendly staff and amazing course. We had an 1133 tee time for 2. We arrived early and were told we would be paired up with another couple when our tee time came up. After hitting a few balls on the range the starter asked us if we wanted to go out right then we could play as a twosome. Which made my wife happy. The beverage cart came by at least every 3 holes. The pace of play was great we didn't see another golfer until the back till hole 15. The fairways tee boxes and greens all were very nice. A few holes were under repair but we were told this up front.
